Bette and Shane are at work the next morning.
“How are things?” Shane asks.
“Fine,” Bette answers, trying to seem detached.
“Have you thought about what you’re going to do?”
“About what Shane?”
“About Tina?”
“What else is there to do?”
“You love her. I’d say that leaves a lot left to do.”
“I don’t know.”
“Come on Bette. I hate seeing you mope around here being miserable.”
“I am not moping.”
“Fine, you’re not moping. But you have to admit you are miserable without Tina. Have you tried to call her?”
“Shane, when I left her the other day I left the ball in her court. And no, I haven’t heard from her.”
“Geez, would you stop being so fucking stubborn and just talk to her?” Shane throws up her hands. “You two will never get anything figured out if you don’t talk to each other. How are you gonna get her back?”
“I love Tina,” Bette tears up. “But I’m scared she doesn’t love me enough to get past this.”
“Then you have to help her.”
“How?”
“Talk to her Bette. I have never seen you have a problem communicating with anyone.”
“You’ve never seen me in love either.”
“You’re right, I haven’t. All the more reason for you to get this figured out.”
Bette is quiet, contemplating what Shane has said.
“Maybe I will try to call her later, ok?”
Shane gives Bette a very disapproving look.
“I happen to know that she went to her parents’ house for the weekend. You could meet her there.”
“Yeah, right. So that she and her parents can all be mad at me?”
“She’s not mad at you Bette. She’s hurt, she’s scared and she’s confused. But she’s not mad.”
“Have you seen her?”
“No. And I haven’t seen Dana much lately either. We’ve been texting and talking on the phone.”
“Oh, sorry. Guess that’s my fault huh?”
“No. Why don’t you take the rest of the day off and go talk to Tina?”
“I’m not sure about talking to her, but I think I will take the rest of the day off. I need to get away and clear my head.”

Making up is great,only if both party are in agreement. They both have careers that they love.If Tinainsist that Bette takes a different path in hers.then she will lose part of Bette. thanks

Now that the phone is on the car charger Bette can try and contact Tina. At least they both realize that they are miserable without the other in their life.
Shit, she saw me. I can’t be rude and drive on by after she waved at me. – I read “nude” instead of rude and thought Bette was driving around naked. LMAO
