Dana: I can still remember it like it was yesterday.  I had this…insane crush on her at the time.

Alice: I tend to remember that, too.

Dana: I had just gotten the Subaru sponsorship.  And we talked…she congratulated me.  She walked away and I went back to my locker…right here.  It couldn’t have been more than five seconds before she walked back…and just planted one of the sweetest kisses.  It was right here.  Little did any of us know what kind of road we were headed on after that.  Had she known, she woulda…probably avoided me.

Alice stands from the bench and wraps her arms around Dana, smiling.  She kisses her on the right cheek.

Alice: Maybe Lara’s on her way back, baby.  Maybe she’s waiting at the house as we speak.

Carmen doesn’t see her.  She knows deep down that she’s been there.  Carmen sees Alice and Dana with their arms around each other.

Carmen: Or maybe she got fed up.

Alice and Dana look at Carmen now, their smiles evaporated.

Carmen: Maybe she’s tired of the two of you using her for a sex pawn…because she doesn’t know how to deal with it.

Alice: Carmen, what the fuck…?

Carmen is feeling indignant.  She’s feeling hurt.  It’s all beginning to multiply into a slight rage.  Carmen finds herself face to face with two not-so-happy people.

Carmen: You two…!!!  You two don’t even fucking love her, do you???  You love each other and since you don’t have any Goddamn pets, I guess Lara’ll just have to do, huh???

Alice wants to scream, but with her voice beginning to shake, she remaines calm.

Alice: You…have no idea.  You have no idea what we’re feeling…  You have no idea what I’m feeling!!!  You…stand there and act like a self righteous little bitch about our relationship!  But if you were any kind of friend, you’d try to support her, but no!!!  You gotta go after me and Dana!  You-

Carmen: She’s not in love with you!!!  You’re the one who doesn’t have a fucking clue!  You and Dana are the ones who’ve…used her and you don’t even feel sorry for it!  You fucking broke her!!!  And I hope…you’re fucking happy you sorry fuck!!!

Alice wants to reach out and slap Carmen…but she hates the violence.  She can feel the tingling in her right hand, like a dark force trying to overtake her.  In these few seconds of time, everything slows down for Alice and now Alice fights within herself.  Tears streaming down her face, she resists the temptation to the point that it makes her body ache.
