    Here’s the end. At least as far as I can see. (Chapter 32, for those of you keeping track – and some of you definitely are!)

    "I can’t believe you kept track of months. How was I supposed to know that?"
    "I didn’t expect you to," Bette said. "I happened to figure it out earlier this year and I realized 200 was approaching."
    "Oh, you ‘happened’ to be figuring out how many months we’d known each other? One of your slower days at work, I trust?"
    By now Tina was letting her hands wander down, dipping into the shallow of Bette’s low back before moving up over the well toned supple skin of her ass.
    "Faculty meetings can be so tedious," Bette explained. "What better way to pass the time than to examine our romantic history?"
    "Is the bedroom door locked?" Tina asked.
    "Have I talked you into a before work celebration?" Bette leaned in to kiss under Tina’s ear. "Everyone was so quietly skeptical that we could last after moving in together so quickly."
    "Sixteen years later, still going strong," Tina closed her eyes and enjoyed the sensation of Bette kissing her neck. "You still make me want you…so much."
    Tina was holding Bette’s ass in her hands as she started to move her hips up into her. Bette kissed Tina on the lips, precluding further conversation. It took mere moments for them to be in a sweaty, tangled mess of sheets, their naked bodies writhing, each woman reaching to provide pleasure to the other.
    They both froze when they heard a knock on the door.
    "Could you keep it down in there, I’m 12, I know what you’re doing," Angelica spoke loudly enough to be heard through the closed door.
    "Um…sorry," Tina replied meekly.
    "I’m not sorry," Bette whispered as she moved down Tina’s body. "I want you to come in my mouth."
    "I’m going to start breakfast," Angie’s voice got quieter with the end of the sentence as she walked away.
    Tina grasped at the fitted sheet of the bed, arching her head back in ecstasy as Bette directed her efforts at pleasuring her partner, the sensibilities of their daughter be damned.
    Twenty minutes later, they were once again lying side by side, both well and truly satisfied after their morning interlude.

    6. Just love the interaction among the three of them. Bette properly embarrassing Angie, Tina trying to divert attention to another topic and Angie realizing and verbalizing her parents for each other and for her. Thanks for fulfilling your promise of 32 chapters. You can write and have a great sense of humor. ;-)

    23. You say it’s the end but clearly your adoring fans think otherwise ;0) Loved this series Swimmie! Angie made me laugh out loud. I remember the “sex talks” with my mom. Embarrassed the hell out of me as a kid but later I was grateful for her openness. As others have mentioned, it’s nice to read a healthy version of Tina and Bette (the potential was always there too bad IC didn’t run with it). I’ll look forward to future posts. I really enjoy your writing.

    26. Awww, this is sweet, funny and embarrassing at the same time. Given their strong foundation, I had a feeling this version of Bette and Tina will have a totally different and far better romantic history than the ones on the show. That sweet morning interlude perfectly captured their enduring love. This Angie is like the older version of the Angie in “A Second Chance at Forever” and I love her! I have many friends who cringe at the thought of their parents having sex and I have friends whose children have caught them having sex. Awkward and embarrassing for both parties but they will all learn to get past it. Parents have sex, it happens. But if Tina will keep her promise to be quieter, Angie will be less embarrassed. Or maybe she can use a headset. I LOL at Bette’s suggestion to soundproof their bedroom. The “soundproofing” line reminded me of two of the loveliest and funniest stories I’ve ever read here: Alchemy’s “Just the Girl” and Spumoni’s “Backstory”. It’s been a pleasure reading this story, your writing, jks. Many thanks for your creativity and generosity! By all means, take a break. But I hope you won’t stay away too long. Take care, jks.
