Tina tried to swallow the lump in her throat. “I don’t know what I did to deserve this… baby, this… what you do to me… it’s just… I love you so much…” Tina stammered.
“I know. That is part of the reason why this list is possible… should I go on?” Bette asked and pulled Tina close.
“…please do…” Tina smiled into the crook of Bette’s neck.
Number four is easy. That would be what we’re doing right now. Holding you close… in bed in the wee hours of the morning… both of us naked… your leg in between mine, chest to chest… your breath on my neck… your soft hair tickling my skin, oversensitive from hours of touching. Holding you, baby… is something I just can’t live without,” Bette said and kissed the top of Tina’s head.
Tina tightened her grip around Bette a little as she continued.
Number three… we’re getting to the really indispensable stuff here… your hands. Those hands that have taken me to heaven and back on so many occasions… the hands that bring me unbelievable pleasure, pure release, calming reassurance, even the hands that have brought me pain once, I love.”
Tina looked up at Bette startled by her mentioning of the pain she had caused her, the slap across the face that Tina would never forgive herself for.
“It’s okay, baby… I just meant to say that after all we’ve been through, your touch is still the thing I crave more than anything… T, you have to let that night go… I have.”
“I’m not sure I can…” Tina mumbled, hiding her face in Bette’s hair.
“I want you to. I need you to… we’ve moved beyond that now… Tina, look at me.”
Tina breathed in deep and got up on her elbow so that she could look into Bette’s eyes.
“Are you okay?” Bette asked tentatively.
“I hate what I did to you – what these hands did to you. But yes I’m okay… I can’t take it back. I can just make sure it never happens again.”
“I know it won’t… now can I finish number three?”
“Oh, you weren’t finished? By all means continue…” Tina said with a little smile.
“Well, the thing I’ll continue to miss about your hands is seeing my ring on your finger. I know we’re a long way from that happening… but I want you to know, when the time comes… I’ll ask you to wear my ring again…”
Tina breathed in trying to control her tears. She nodded to let Bette know she got the message.
“Hey! This is supposed to be fun… not causing tears,” Bette complained.
Tina let out a little laugh. “It IS fun, babe… these are tears of happiness… I’m having fun… and go on, will you? I’m dying to know what number two could be…”
“Number two… I’ll have to get explicit with you again cause there is no explaining this. This has to be felt….” Bette smiled with mischief. She let her hand wander down Tina’s body and in between her legs. They both closed their eyes involuntarily as Bette’s finger was enveloped in the warmest, softest, most sacred place in the universe.
“Mmm, you’re still wet, baby….” Bette groaned.
“…I know…” Tina whimpered close to Bette’s ear.
“Number two is everything about this… the feel, the texture, the heat, the smell, the taste… the sound even…” Bette giggled. Ever so slowly she moved her finger to circle Tina’s clit.
“You better hurry getting to number one… cause I’m not going to last long…” Tina moaned.
“Number one is you, T… everything about you. All the things I’ve mentioned combined. What I’ve missed most of all, my number one, is you….. I can show you, if you want me to…”
“Show me, baby…” Tina whispered.

That was like, volcanically hot, and at the same time, one of the sweetest things I’ve ever read. …So! The Box of Mystery yielded a diamond. Hmmm. wow!! Good thing Bette didn’t go for twenty cos I don’t think Tina would have lasted. They were all great, but I like #1, you, everything that is you. That was awesome. Yes I do have a pool, little to cold to use it right now, but hey I heard were having an early spring.

Delicious. I must say, this was a risky read for me considering how much I despise gooey mushiness (where you can’t even say a word without crying a river)…But, you did it quite tastefully. Well, it was a little dangerous at times. All liquids remained on the hard surface and not in my hand or in my lap and chest. Numbers 6 and 2 were pretty good and of course number 1 was the best. I think that I would have placed her eyes in the top 5 though. You mentioned some that I had not even thought of. I wonder what Tina’s list would have been comprised of.
Show her Bette, show her. Well that was one heck of a top ten list (not one that would make it to David Letterman but pretty good nonetheless). #2 was especially hot but if u don’t post another chapeter soon anker i maky just burst into flames. I don’t know if Tina’s top 20 list about Bette could ever compare to the top 1o Bette just came up with. Gotta love that Porter charm. Post soon!
