It was three o’clock in the morning. Bette and Tina were barely awake, both of them refusing to let sleep take over. They were lying face to face, holding hands, every once in a while sharing a sweet kiss.
“My lips are buzzing… soon they’ll go numb from all this lip action…” Tina whispered with a light chuckle.
“Are you complaining, T? Should I stop kissing you?” Bette whispered, her lips so close to Tina, she could feel the moisture of her breath.
“… no, I’m not complaining… I love the fact that your kisses… your caresses, have taken me to a point where I lose all function of my body…. I’m not complaining. I’m giving you praise, baby….” Tina whispered and kissed Bette’s awaiting lips.
Bette moved closer, resting her head on Tina’s chest.
“Why did we stop doing this?” Bette whispered into the darkness of the bedroom.
“What? Kissing?”
“Yes…. kissing, touching…. making love… fucking… all of it. It is incredible. Why did we ever stop, Tina?”
Tina let her fingers run through Bette’s hair in a soothing manner. “I don’t completely know, Bette. I’ve asked myself that very same question many times. I don’t know how we could go without this for those long stretches of time… what makes it even more of a mystery is that I never forgot the impact you have on me. I always knew that you could turn me on like no one else. I knew that every day we spent together and every day we were apart…”
“You did?” Bette asked and turned her head to look up at Tina.
“Yes, I knew… I remembered… and I missed it every day too…” Tina whispered and looked deep into Bette’s almond shaped eyes.
“Me too…”
“Tell me what you missed…” Tina said and smiled down at Bette.
Bette chuckled. “Do you want me to make a list? A top five of the things I missed about you, T…?”
“Make it a top ten, would you?” Tina laughed.
“Needy much, are we?” Bette teased.
“Very!”
“Okay… a top ten of the things I missed about the lovely Tina Kennard – the NC-17 version…” Bette said as she feigned having to think hard.
“Bette! You cannot think of ten things you missed about me?” Tina whined, “I know I could create a top twenty about you… without having to think at all.”
“Really, baby? I’ll look forward to that one… but right now it’s all about MY list, so simmer down… I was just waiting for the drum roll,” Bette giggled.
“It must be quite a list for you to need a drum roll to start it off…”
“Oh, it is…. let’s see… Number ten on the list would have to be…”
“You’re stalling, baby…”

That was like, volcanically hot, and at the same time, one of the sweetest things I’ve ever read. …So! The Box of Mystery yielded a diamond. Hmmm. They do say diamonds are forever, and I think it’s as good a symbol as you’ll get for what these two have. Top Ten things to say about this chapter? wow!! Good thing Bette didn’t go for twenty cos I don’t think Tina would have lasted. They were all great, but I like #1, you, everything that is you. That was awesome. Yes I do have a pool, little to cold to use it right now, but hey I heard were having an early spring.

Oh, my friend, hot and sweet, as the rest said. And, of course, so well written. You had me anticipating even step of the top ten as much as Tina was… though I think she probably got more out of it then I did. xD Rings down the line will be fine (whoops, no rhyming! Bad NY!). Don’t really see NC-17s in my future, but they eventually get hard to avoid, don’t they? Well, I think for now I’ll leave it to those that have already mastered them! Awesome, anker!

Delicious. I must say, this was a risky read for me considering how much I despise gooey mushiness (where you can’t even say a word without crying a river)…But, you did it quite tastefully. Well, it was a little dangerous at times. All liquids remained on the hard surface and not in my hand or in my lap and chest. Numbers 6 and 2 were pretty good and of course number 1 was the best. I think that I would have placed her eyes in the top 5 though. You mentioned some that I had not even thought of. I wonder what Tina’s list would have been comprised of.
Show her Bette, show her. Well that was one heck of a top ten list (not one that would make it to David Letterman but pretty good nonetheless). #2 was especially hot but if u don’t post another chapeter soon anker i maky just burst into flames. I don’t know if Tina’s top 20 list about Bette could ever compare to the top 1o Bette just came up with. Gotta love that Porter charm. Post soon!
