“Number ten is the anticipation I feel… from being in the same room as you. You have this pull on me… I just need your full attention so much. I want you to look at me, smile at me, knowing that soon I’ll have you. The anticipation of your love is number ten,” Bette stated obviously proud of her choice.
Tina swallowed a smile and nodded to Bette for her to go on.
“Number nine is… seeing those tiny beads of sweat on your forehead and upper lip when we’re kissing, and you’re just dying for me to get to it…” Bette said and let a finger trace Tina’s lips to emphasize her point. The tip of Tina’s tongue grazed Bette’s finger pad. Tina smiled at Bette in encouragement.
“Okay, are you ready for number eight?” Bette asked and winked at Tina.
“Oh, I’m ready alright…”
“Number eight is being able to touch your face… I’ve missed that so much, T. To just reach out and caress your cheek, your jaw line, the bridge of your nose. To let my finger trace your eyebrow, your hairline…. your lower lip. The intimacy of being the one who’s allowed to feel the softness of your skin, lips and tongue is something I’ve missed terribly… to run my finger through your eyes lashes while you don’t even blink, knowing that I’d never hurt you. That’s number eight,” Bette said, underlining her words with light touches.
“Baby…” Tina whispered her voice cracking from emotion.
“Number seven would have to be your scent…. your many scents, I might add. I missed you coming out of the shower, smelling like soap and that lemon and lavender shampoo of yours. I missed the way you smell when I burry my face in the crook of your neck and just a hint of your perfume teases me… But even more than that, I miss YOUR smell… that combination of so many little things that make up the smell of my T. That hint of a scent, hanging in the air when you leave a room… or better yet – the scent that makes me aware that you’ve entered the room,” Bette took a moment to kiss Tina before she continued, “and then there’s the smell of your arousal… nothing compares to that…. I love when I can smell your desire and I look up into your eyes and I see it there too. And I love when I can smell you on myself after we’ve made love….”

That was like, volcanically hot, and at the same time, one of the sweetest things I’ve ever read. …So! The Box of Mystery yielded a diamond. Hmmm. wow!! Good thing Bette didn’t go for twenty cos I don’t think Tina would have lasted. They were all great, but I like #1, you, everything that is you. That was awesome. Yes I do have a pool, little to cold to use it right now, but hey I heard were having an early spring.

You had me anticipating even step of the top ten as much as Tina was… though I think she probably got more out of it then I did. xD Rings down the line will be fine (whoops, no rhyming! Bad NY!). Delicious. I must say, this was a risky read for me considering how much I despise gooey mushiness (where you can’t even say a word without crying a river)…But, you did it quite tastefully. Well, it was a little dangerous at times. All liquids remained on the hard surface and not in my hand or in my lap and chest. Numbers 6 and 2 were pretty good and of course number 1 was the best. I think that I would have placed her eyes in the top 5 though. You mentioned some that I had not even thought of. I wonder what Tina’s list would have been comprised of.
Show her Bette, show her. Well that was one heck of a top ten list (not one that would make it to David Letterman but pretty good nonetheless). #2 was especially hot but if u don’t post another chapeter soon anker i maky just burst into flames. I don’t know if Tina’s top 20 list about Bette could ever compare to the top 1o Bette just came up with. Gotta love that Porter charm. Post soon!
