As they walk toward the front door, Tina can’t help thinking how stunning Bette looks in her white suit “Bette you look great in that suit.”

“Thanks, I had an art presentation this afternoon otherwise I’d be a little less dressy.” I know this outfit is one of Tina’s favorite, glad she noticed smiling from ear to ear. 

Tina opens the door and they both walk into the reception area.  Standing side by side at the same restaurant they frequented for so many years gave them both a surreal feeling.  Bette noticing how sexy Tina is dressed, trying not to stare.

The little Japanese hostess greets them “Helloo, long time no see, right this way.” he motions for them to follow

“Excuse me, could we have one of those half shaped booths.” Bette asks

“Sure no problem” sitting them at a round booth “Waiter be right here” he hands them menus

They both take a seat and put Angie between them in her carrier. Bette comments to Tina “I’m so happy to be here with you you both” sighing

“We’re happy to be here with you Bette” smiling.”

The smiling waiter arrives “Happy couple” smiling “Long time you not come visit.”  Looking at Bette “Sake for you?”

She waving her hands “NO not tonight, I would like some green tea” looking at Tina “What would you like”

“Green tea would be nice and some soy beans”

Shaking his head “Ok, for dinner combo sushi plate.”

Tina smiles at Bette “What are you in the mood for” leaning her head towards Bette.

“Ah, the sushi combo would be great if you’d like to share” I can’t believe I’m sitting here with my beautiful ex-wife ordering dinner breath Porter breath.

“Ok, we make special sushi combo for happy couple”

Looking at Tina “Is this strange or what, maybe we should have gone to a place that didn’t recognize us. I hope this is not making you feel uncomfortable.” raising her eyebrows

Chuckling “This was our favorite restaurant It’s only natural they would recognize us, doesn’t bother me, got to admit he’s kinda cute” smiling

Relaxing, drinking tea and nibbling on the soy beans both just enjoying the moment.  Angie is giggling and waving her arms at her two mommies.  The waiter arrives and places a large plate of sushi between them.
