    Tina has a surprise for Bette!

     

    Bette looked troubled and said “Am I going to get in trouble?”

     

    Tina said “No, I told Dr. Miller that I was going to bring you over here as a surprise this weekend and he thought it was a great idea. I can help take your mind off things before you get started on physical therapy”.

    Bette laughed nervously and said “I don’t know if I am ready for this Tina. I feel like a fish out of water. I just feel really overwhelmed at the moment”.

     

    Bette started to cry, but she wasn’t really sure why. Tina immediately went to her side and rubbed her back and brushed the hair out of her eyes.

     

    She spoke softly to Bette “Baby, what do you mean you feel overwhelmed? I just meant that I wanted you to have a relaxing time and take it easy today. Is this too much for you? Do you want me to take you back over to the hospital? I am really sorry Bette. I didn’t mean for this to be stressful to you. I thought it would cheer you up and take your mind off of everything, give you a taste of normalcy… I am really sorry sweetie…”

     

    Bette pulled herself together and said “T, it is ok. Please don’t apologize. Things have just happened so fast. I guess I have been used to being in this safe little hospital and I feel out of control leaving the hospital and the thing with Jodie still has me a bit on edge. I didn’t mean to freak out. I am sorry. Let’s do try to have a nice time together. Let’s take a bath. This is just a bath right?”

     

    Tina said “What do you mean Bette?”

     

    Bette looked embarrassed and said “I just got the feeling that this was supposed to be romantic all the sudden and panicked and got worried because I don’t know if I am ready for that and I got scared”.

     

    Tina said “Bette Porter, I did not bring you over here to seduce you!”

     

    Bette looked at Tina and said “T, I don’t know… I was just trying to be honest about what I was feeling. I don’t know…”

    7. Damn jodi, she is still in the middle of Bette and Tina and she is not even present. I am glad that Bette is opening up to Tina about her fears. Between Bette and Tina, their shared love will see them through this entire mess.

    8. Wow, I love this story. Poor Bette and Tina. I don’t think Bette is quite ready for that, but I understand why she’s trying to rush herself. Everyone is different, and I hope this will do her good rather than make the problem worse. They are so adorable together! Thanks for posting and PPS!

    9. Poor Bette. She’s trying, but if she’s not totally ready, she shouldn’t force it… But maybe this is her way of getting on with her and Tina’s life. Ugh, Jodi needs drawn and quartered right about now. Thanks for the post

    10. I have no idea how one overcomes what happened to Bette. Some need a lot of time whereas others just jump in the water. Anyhow, I hope she didn’t jump too soon. I missed this story as well. Thanks for taking the time to write. PPS!

    14. After seeing Tina naked Bette has changed her mind and I don’t think she should have done that since she really does not yet feel secure and I think Tina should be very careful with her. Great update. I think Bette should tell the police and let them deal with jodi. Or at the least let Tina or Kit kick her behind.
