    Getting to know you

     

    Harmony:  “Yes.  And you being here with me is thank you enough.”

     

    Bette:  “I’m serious Harmony.”

     

    Harmony:  “So am I.  You have a house and baby and a complicated partner to support.  I refused to be added to that list.  At least not  until one of those is off the list.”

     

    An obvious reference to Tina.  Harmony pulled out a platinum card and signaled to the waitress to come and get it.

     

    Bette:  “Ok fine you win this battle but the war is far from over.”

     

    Harmony smiled that sly smile like she does.

     

    Harmony:  “Oh, I hope not.”

     

    Bette returned the smile and raised one eye brow.

     

    After Harmony signed for dinner she walked Bette to her car.

     

    Harmony:  “this was fun.”

     

    Bette:  “Yes it was.  We have to do it again some time soon.’

     

    Harmony:  “Yes, we must.”

     

    Harmony flung her hair over her right shoulder, leaned in close to Bette and just as Bette was about to lean in as well, Harmony opened up the drivers side door.

     

    Harmony:  “Goodnight Bette Porter.”

     

    Bette smiled at the little game Harmony was playing.

     

    Bette:  “Goodnight Harmony Sunfire.  Where’s your car?  Do you need a ride?”

     

    Harmony:  “No I’m good.  It’s the blue BMW over there.”

     

    It was the same color and year as Bette’s Saab. 

     

    Bette:  “Nice.”

     

    Harmony:  “thanks you too.”

     

    Bette:  “Well good night again.”

     

    This time Bette leaned in and as Harmony was doing the same, she disappeared into the car.  Harmony laughed out loud.

     

    Harmony:  “Bye”

     

    She closed the door and watched as Bette pulled out before she walked to her car.  They both got to the light at the same time.  When it turned green they both honked twice and turned in opposite directions.

     

    Bette’s House

     

    It was a little after 11 when she got home.  Everyone seemed to be sleep and in bed.  Bette undressed and was about to climb in bed when she heard she had received an instant message on her lap top.  She retrieved it from the night stand crawled into bed.

There is such a natural flow to this story, your dialogue is perfect and the cast is to die for…I liked MK enough, but never truely died for her…now Harmony here, there is just something about their pairing that makes it right…pls more chapters it’s so easy to read and get lost in…thankyou..
