Bette returned home with a huge smile on her face. It was the best night she had in a long time. Harmony had made her feel like a million dollars. Bette came in to find the house empty. Tina didn’t even leave the light over the oven on. When she turned on the light iin kitchen she found that she hadn’t even put the roses in water like she asked her to.
Bette: Typical. She cant do anything for me. I wont allow her to ruin my good mood. I had a fabulous evening. Harmony is something else. I like her. I wonder how far this going to go. I wonder how far I’m willing to go. I dunno where Tina and I go from here. All I know is Tina moved on months ago. Its time I did too.
Harmony’s apartment Sunday afternoon
Roxanne knocked on Harmony’s door twice then walked in. Harmony was still in bed.
Roxanne: “You’re still not up?”
Harmony rolled over and put a pillow over her head.
Harmony: “Giving you that key was one of the worst decisions I’ve made in a long time.”
Roxanne: “Well if you weren’t too lazy to answer the door every time I came by then there would be no need for me to have this key.”
Harmony: “Well if you weren’t here so often then I wouldn’t need to give it to you would I?”
Roxanne got up off the edge of the bed and headed towards the door.
Roxanne: “If it’s like that then I’ll just leave and”
Harmony pulled the pillow off her head.
Harmony: “No wait! Don’t go. Jerk.”
Roxanne turned smiled and jumped on the bed laying down next to Harmony.
Harmony: “I gotta tell you bout my date.”
A large smile slid across her face.
Roxanne: “Uh huh. You need me here now so you can talk about Ms. Hot Stuff.”
Harmony blushed.
Harmony: “Shut up. She is great though. Better then the myth.”
Roxanne: “Damn. Better?”
Harmony: “Much.”
Roxanne: “How so?”
Harmony: “I dunno. I really don’t know her that well but for some reason I feel like we have a connection. She understands me somehow. Its hard to explain.”

Biased I’m sorry to write this but I don’t give a fuck about Tina in this story seriously Vibes you are doing a great job of making her role as minimal as it can be. This is all about Bette and her finding some of the strength and confidence that has been literally sucked out of her being by all the shit that has gone down in her relationship with Tina. Yippie for Vibes…

I totally agree with Slipperynipple. Bette deserves to get her confidence and strength back. If Harmony is the one to help her with this then so be it. Tina had her chance to work things out with Bette and for whatever reasons she didn’t take advantage of it. So Bette should do whatever it takes to be a happy and confident woman again. Keep this going Vibes–great story.
Take your time, I like th foundation you’be built so far. All your fans will be patient I’m sure. Tina sure is acting immature though. I can’t belive they are living in the same house and barely speaking. Might be time for Tina to get her own place.

I can’t believe that Bette is actually worried about what Tina would think if she decided to go back to work. Seems to me that Tina gave up any right to have a say in Bette’s life when she headed out the door with someone else. I’m really enjoying this story and look forward to the next chapter.
I’m with Slipperynipple.I dont care a flying Fig about Tina,she maded her bed let her lay in it. Bette needs a job ,Just for Bette,It want be long before Tina is gone and will want a nanny for the baby.so Bette needs to look into her future beyond Tina and She will see the baby

As much as I want B&T together, I really like the fact that Bette is getting to be her old self again. Maybe. Harmony is good for Bette in that she sees what she used to be looking at harmony and enjoying it and missing her old life. Good for Bette. Personally, I think Tina has waited too long for a comeback. Bette still considers Tina’s feelings even now. She is the better woman in this. Thanks for the post.
I like this story and while i am a little sad about whee B and T seem to be going I like seeing Bette at least a little happy again and she deserves someone who will treat her well.
please post soon I want to read the next chapter so bad I don’t know what to do. I think evreybody wants that type of love thing. Every woman wants to be treated like a queen. I am so happy for bette I don’t even know what to do with myself. At this point I thank god bette is putting her foot down. And not taking that BS that tina is feeding her. Bette is goreous and she deserves true love, even if is for the moment.

Go Bette, “its ya birthday we gonna party like it’s your birthday” Bette should move the hell on and then have Tina wanting to come back only after which Bette tells her to “Step off Bitch”

loving this story… i hope bette and harmony grow into a couple, but i think tina will be having a hard time watching bette so happy and giddy- how they used to be.
