    Getting to know you

     

    Harmony:  “Hi gorgeous.”

     

    Bette:  “Hi.”

     

    Harmony slid around the booth and sat close to Bette.

     

    Harmony:  “I’m soooo sorry I’m late.  Brady just wouldn’t stop running his mouth.”

     

    Bette:  “Don’t worry about it.  I wasn’t here long.”

     

    Harmony:  “Still it’s rude to have people wait.  So I apologize.”

     

    Bette:  “Apology accepted.  So how was work?”

     

    Harmony:  “Fine.  Busy.  Difficult.”

     

    Bette:  “Difficult?”

     

    Harmony:  “Yeah.  I couldn’t stop thinking about you.”?

     

    Bette:  “You don’t play games do you?”

     

    Harmony:  “By no means.  Life is short.”

     

    Bette smiled.

     

    Bette:  “Your right.  Thoughts of you clouded my day as well.”

     

    Harmony smiled sexily and just looked at Bette.  They both used this opportunity to drink each other in.  They didn’t even take their eyes off each other as the waitress came and took their drink orders.

     

    Waitress:  “Can I get either of you anything to drink?”

     

    Bette:  “Scotch rocks.”

     

    Harmony:  “Peach Bellini.”

     

    The waitress walked away.

     

    Harmony:  “So tell me about yourself.”

     

    Bette:  “What do you want to know?”

     

    Harmony:  “Everything.  Anything your willing to tell me.”

     

    Bette did just that.  She used this opportunity to tell Harmony how it was.  Well what she knew anyway.  She told her about Tina, why their relationship was in its current state, how Angelica came about and how Bette was unsure about the state of her relationship with Tina now but she knew it was time for a change. 

     

    Harmony listened to the whole story.  It answered a lot of questions she had.  Bette’s story lasted till about the time the entrees were served.

     

    Bette:   “I feel like I’ve been talking for a long time.”

     

    Harmony:  “I love the sound of your voice.”

     

    Bette blushed.

     

    Bette:  “Well aren’t you going to say something about what I just said?”

     

    Harmony:  “Why should I.  It’s your life.  I just want to learn about you, not interfere.”

     

    Bette:  “You stand to get involved though.”

     

    Harmony:  “True but I’ll address that when and if it becomes an issue.  Until then I just want to drink in anything about you that  you feel is significant.”

There is such a natural flow to this story, your dialogue is perfect and the cast is to die for…I liked MK enough, but never truely died for her…now Harmony here, there is just something about their pairing that makes it right…pls more chapters it’s so easy to read and get lost in…thankyou..

You don’t leave your fans hanging for to long, you don’t leave us hanging at all. Its like reading a book. Maybe you should consider. Hint!!!!!!. No all jokes aside you are an excellant writer.
