Roxanne: “Hmmm. Well this is the happiest I’ve seen you about one of your ladies in a long time. I’m happy for you.”
Harmony: “Thank you but where did I get this rep from. What does ‘one of my ladies mean? This reporter referenced that last night too. I had no clue where he got that from.”
Roxanne looked at Harmony like she was crazy.
Roxanne: “Um I dunno if you noticed but you’re a bit of a lady killer babe. Lets look at the evidence. Have you had a relationship that has lasted more then 3 months?”
Harmony nodded no.
Roxanne: “You’ve had a different date to every one of the Brady bashes am I right?”
Harmony nodded yes.
Roxanne: “Have you brought anyone to meet your parents, besides me?
Harmony: “Ok, ok I get it. Well it’s different this time. I’m serious.”
Roxanne just looked at Harmony and laughed.
Roxanne: “Well, pal of mine, besides that you threw yet another great party. The city is all abuzz. So what do you say you let me take you out for some lunch?”
Harmony: “that sounds great. Lemme get dressed.”
Harmony and Roxanne went to their usual spot down the block to grab some lunch. The whole time they recapped the events of the previous evening Harmony thought about Bette. She couldn’t even focus on the conversation. She found it hard to focus on her best friend. She usually found it easy to spend time with her home girl. But today was different. Bette had did a number on Harmony in just 2 meetings. After lunch they went shopping and responded to the long list of emails and congratulatory phone calls. Before Harmony knew it the day had gotten away from her. She intended on calling Bette but by the time she was free she felt it was too late to call a woman with a baby. So she went to bed with Bette weighing heavy on her mind.
Bette spent the day with Angelica but she couldn’t think of much else either. Harmony stayed with her the whole day. Bette found it strange that she hadn’t called but she thought she was busy so she decided she wouldn’t call her. It was best to let things between them progress naturally. If it was meant to be, it would be. When Tina came in from the market she found Bette playing with Angelica on the living room floor.

Biased I’m sorry to write this but I don’t give a fuck about Tina in this story seriously Vibes you are doing a great job of making her role as minimal as it can be. This is all about Bette and her finding some of the strength and confidence that has been literally sucked out of her being by all the shit that has gone down in her relationship with Tina. Yippie for Vibes…

I totally agree with Slipperynipple. Bette deserves to get her confidence and strength back. If Harmony is the one to help her with this then so be it. Tina had her chance to work things out with Bette and for whatever reasons she didn’t take advantage of it. So Bette should do whatever it takes to be a happy and confident woman again. Keep this going Vibes–great story.
Take your time, I like th foundation you’be built so far. All your fans will be patient I’m sure. Tina sure is acting immature though. I can’t belive they are living in the same house and barely speaking. Might be time for Tina to get her own place.

I can’t believe that Bette is actually worried about what Tina would think if she decided to go back to work. Seems to me that Tina gave up any right to have a say in Bette’s life when she headed out the door with someone else. I’m really enjoying this story and look forward to the next chapter.
I’m with Slipperynipple.I dont care a flying Fig about Tina,she maded her bed let her lay in it. Bette needs a job ,Just for Bette,It want be long before Tina is gone and will want a nanny for the baby.so Bette needs to look into her future beyond Tina and She will see the baby

As much as I want B&T together, I really like the fact that Bette is getting to be her old self again. Maybe. Harmony is good for Bette in that she sees what she used to be looking at harmony and enjoying it and missing her old life. Good for Bette. Personally, I think Tina has waited too long for a comeback. Bette still considers Tina’s feelings even now. She is the better woman in this. Thanks for the post.
I like this story and while i am a little sad about whee B and T seem to be going I like seeing Bette at least a little happy again and she deserves someone who will treat her well.
please post soon I want to read the next chapter so bad I don’t know what to do. I think evreybody wants that type of love thing. Every woman wants to be treated like a queen. I am so happy for bette I don’t even know what to do with myself. At this point I thank god bette is putting her foot down. And not taking that BS that tina is feeding her. Bette is goreous and she deserves true love, even if is for the moment.

Go Bette, “its ya birthday we gonna party like it’s your birthday” Bette should move the hell on and then have Tina wanting to come back only after which Bette tells her to “Step off Bitch”

loving this story… i hope bette and harmony grow into a couple, but i think tina will be having a hard time watching bette so happy and giddy- how they used to be.
