    Wedding bells are ringing as an objection fills the air. Crossroads.

     

    Carmen: You got everything ready?

     

    Shane: Your dress is on the bed, along with my tux, and the little guy’s outfit is on his changetable.

     

    Carmen: I’m so glad Alex didn’t make him wear a jacket.

     

    Shane: Yeah, well, we’ll be lucky if that bowtie stays clipped on!

     

    They both smiled.

     

    Shane: Well I’m gonna go shower, but I’ll be quick so you can hop in while we play dinky cars.

     

    Carmen: alright.

     

    Shane kissed her wife softly.

     

    Shane: love you!

     

    Carmen: I love you too!

     

    Shane smiled at her wife, then ran off.

     

    Alice rolled over, expecting Alex to be there. She slowly opened her eyes, and started to remember what had happened earlier. She smiled remembering her lovers lingering kiss on her forehead and eyelids. Then she sat up, and walked into the hallway, smelling bacon and eggs. Curiously, she walked into her kitchen, seeing a brunette at the stove, and her blonde wife at the table, as well as their 6 year old laughing at her mother’s joke. Bette turned around, a pan in her hand and smiled.

     

    Bette: Morning Al, How’d you sleep?

     

    Alice: What are you guys doing here?

     

    Tina: We thought we’d come by and give you a good breakfast.

     

    Angelika got up and ran to Alice, hugging her leg.

     

    Angelika: Morning auntie Alice!

     

    Alice bent down to the child’s level.

     

    Alice: Hey you, are you having fun is LA?

     

    The girl nodded.

     

    Angelika: Momma B and Momma T already brought me to Bugs Bunnies Star!

     

    Alice: Wow, I bet that was exciting.

     

    She nodded.

     

    Angelika: And I got my picture taken with Spiderman!

     

    Alice looked up at Bette.

     

    Alice: I can see we’ve been to the walk of fame!

     

    Tina and Bette Nodded.

     

    Bette: Baby, why don’t you go sit with mama T, while I talk to auntie Alice for a second?

     

    Angelika nodded, and ran back to her chair. Bette brought Alice aside.

     

    Alice: Okay Bette, you’re freaking me out. What’s going on?

     

    Bette: I just want you to know that Alex went missing last night. I hope to God she didn’t get cold feet, but I think you should know that Max showed up to her hotel room to watch the late night game with her, and she wasn’t there.
