    B&T 9 years after season 1: Bette talks to the girls.

     

    Bette: "Don’t you have a guest room?"

     

    Alice: "Yeah but whenever I do something that gets me kicked out of our bed, which hasn’t happened in a very long time, she tells me to sleep on the couch. I made the mistake of sleeping in the guest room once, believe me you don’t want to cross Dana when she’s already mad."

     

    The doorbell rang and Alice jumped up to answer it.

     

    Alice: "Hi baby I’m so sorry I’ll make it up to you I…Oh hey Kit."

     

    Kit: "Don’t hey me what’s the big emergency?"

     

    Alice: "I see Shane called you to. Well I was trying to find that out myself but your sister distracted me."

     

    Bette: "Hi Kit. And I didn’t distract you. You’re the one that forget your wife at home."

     

    Kit: "You forgot Dana?"

     

    Alice: "I thought there was an emergency. You guys need to stop focusing on how I forgot Dana, and see what a great friend I am for getting here as fast as I did."

     

    Bette: "You’re right thank you Alice you’re a great friend and if there is ever an emergency you’ll be the first person I call. Now both of you get inside and sit down. Well we wait for Dana and Shane."

     

    Alice: "Since we got here first can you give us a hint?"

     

    Bette: "No we’re going to wait until everyone is here."

     

    Kit: "No one is hurt right?"

     

    Bette: "No it’s good news I just needed to talk to everyone before the barbecue started."

     

    Alice: "Why? What’s going to happen? Who’s coming?"

     

    Bette: "Alice…"

     

    Kit: "Hey Alice why don’t you come outside and help me bring in the food."

     

    Bette: "Thanks Kit."

     

    Kit: "Don’t mention it."

     

    After bringing in the food Shane walked in with Dana. Alice jumped up again and walked over to the door.

     

    Alice: "I am so sorry but Shane called and told me to get down to Bette’s right away. Please don’t be mad I thought there was an emergency."

     

    Dana: "You’re very lucky that Shane explained why you ran out of the house."

     

    Alice: "Yeah well I wouldn’t be in trouble if it wasn’t for Shane. Did she tell you what was going on?"

    2. OMG this chapter had me rolling! Some memorable quotes: Alice: “It would be if he knew us. Face it Bette acting crazy is normal for us.” Kit: “Speak for yourself.”Alice: “Oh hold on I think I heard a car pull up. Bette’s back. Quick everyone act normal.”LMAO! That’s cool that Alice and Dana have a son Eli can play with. And methinks Eli’s “tan” has nothing to do with playing in the sun. ;)

    7. Blue eyes,blond and a tan. sounds alot like a child Bette and Tina would have. except for the blue eyes hazel yes. Alice is such a crazy lady, Crazy is normal for us. Hope they don’t scare him to death. Eli is really a cute kid he will win their hearts just like Tina did a long time ago.     11. Normal??? As if they could act normal! Bette bette stick to Eli like glue, because the family he has only heard about prior to today, is about to eat him alive! LOL! Thank goodness Jack is there to take off some of the pressure. I hope they all have a great time! Great chapter T!

    15. I love this story so much, it brings laughter and tears, hanging out for the Bette/Tina meeting; love the ‘crazy’ family is still hanging together and that Dana and Alice have a son….love love love this story..more soon as apossible please.

    19. This story was sooo funny, I loved it! I think they will scare Eli…lol. Tina might as well start packing their bags because he will love his family so much she will have no choice but to move. I hope your telling us that Bette will be Eli’s guardian if anything happens to Tina is not a foreshadowing of what is to come.

    20. Oh this is a wonderful story. Tan?, no, I wonder if Tina sneaked into town and got impregnated with Marcus’ sperm 89 years ago. Anywho, that child is not just tanned, he is of mixed race, probably Marcus and now he is more than Tina’s son, he is also Bette’s son. Whatcha bet? I Love It. …”Acting crazy is normal”… And I will also bet that the car pulling up is not Bette but, Tina, she could not wait until the next weekend. Please let it be Tina.

    22. This story gets better and better with each chapter (not that it was not awesome to begin with). I just know that the girls will love Eli and that he will love them. Really looking forward to seeing Tina with Bette again and then Tina explaining why Eli has Bette’s last name as part of his name. Yeah, summer school is extremely demanding. Glad that you are able to bring this story to us.
