    B&T reunite: The gallery opening kicks off

     

     

    “Really did he happen to mention who he had the most fun with?”

     

     

    This time Dana nudged Alice making Oliver smile. “No I can’t say that he mentioned that.”

     

     

    “Hmm so what do you do Oliver?”

     

     

    “I’m a financial consultant, hedge funds almost exclusively but I might be making a career change.”

     

     

    “Oh yeah what kind of change? Does it have to do with Tina and Eli moving down here in a year? Are you thinking of moving to L.A. too?”

     

     

    Oliver glanced over at John and smiled before turning back to Alice. “Well I’m considering joining the family business. My father’s thinking of retiring in a few years and he wants to make sure I can handle everything. And the news of Tina and her family moving down here at the end of the year is news to me but I’m happy for them. I know that Tina wanted to raise Eli in California and that she wanted to make a life with Bette so they have my complete support.”

     

     

    “Are you going to move down here…?”

     

     

    Kit was satisfied with all of Oliver’s answers and she really did like him. She was hoping to learn more about him since Tina regarded him as a sort of brother. “Alright Alice that’s enough questions for tonight leave Oliver alone. Their plans for the future is news for all of us including Oliver.”

     

     

    “I was just getting to know him.”

     

     

    Oliver smiled at Kit for intervening. “It’s alright I don’t mind a few questions.”

     

     

    “Honey telling this one that you don’t mind questions is opening yourself up to a night of Q & A?”

     

     

    Oliver looked over at Alice a bit amused. “I’m fine with that if it will assuage any of her concerns. It seems I’m going to be spending a lot of time with some vital members of your family its only natural that you make sure I’m well intentioned when it comes to Tina, Eli, and now Bette.”

     

     

    Alice smiled widely as she glanced over at Kit who was shaking her head.

    Eli had walked out ahead looking around at the gallery as it seemed to be increasingly closer to the time of the opening, while his moms slowly trailed behind him sharing looks of complete love and adoration.

At first I thought the drama was with Melvin and Bette and then Alice with Oliver, but now I know that it is Ava that is the drama. Please don’t let it mess with B&T.     8. Congratulations on the award…this story is awesome! You know how to bring the drama. It was 7 pages but those 7 pages went by too quick. I think Bette should let Tina know about the one night stand also…was she the woman Bette was with that night Tina called her? This is a freakin small world…lol. How will Bette feel when she finds out how serious they were and how this chick wants to start a family with her T? I know it’s too much to ask for another post tonight…but can we get one Jan 1st? After you hangover wears off?
