    B&T reunite: The gallery opening kicks off

     

     

    “Shit.” “Shit.”

     

     

    Bette and Tina turned when they both heard each others comments. They both looked at each other questioningly.

     

     

    “Hey mom look who’s here?”

     

     

    Both Tina and Bette looked over at Eli he had Ava by the hand and was pulling her towards them. Alice, Oliver, and Dana all looked like they wanted to crawl into a hole but they walked over to Bette and Tina.

     

     

    Bette’s eyes narrowed when she saw Eli holding Ava’s hand, Bette’s grip on Tina’s hand tightened.

     

     

    Tina leaned in towards Bette. “Calm down babe.”

     

     

    Bette turned towards Tina and saw that Tina was trying to give her a reassuring look but she could also see her T was a bit nervous. “Sorry T…umm T is she a friend of yours?”

     

     

    “Yeah babe she is…we were in a relationship a while back but that was a long time ago we’re just friends now.”

     

     

    Tina could see Bette’s brow furrow. “Babe don’t worry about her we’re just friends…a friend I haven’t seen in over a year.”

     

     

    Bette just nodded as she turned back as Eli and Ava were now in front of them. Ava smiled widely as she saw Tina she glanced over at Bette briefly before her gaze settled back on Tina.

     

     

    Ava let go of Eli’s hand as she moved in to hug Tina. “Tina I can’t believe you’re in L.A. Oliver didn’t say you were here.”

     

     

    Ava managed to hug Tina but Bette didn’t let go of Tina’s hand her jaw was now tense that this woman had the gall to hug her T.

     

     

    Tina hugged Ava tentatively she knew that Bette wasn’t happy that Ava was hugging her because her grip on her hand was firmer. Tina pulled out of the hug as quick as she could but right before Ava pulled away she kissed Tina’s cheek. Tina was wearing a nervous smile.

     

     

    “Hi Ava I never expected to see you here.”

     

     

    Ava went back to standing across from Tina ignoring the scathing look Bette was giving her. She took Eli’s hand again which only angered Bette even more.

     

     

    “Same here I came to support Alessandro’s little brother Vincent. Wow I can’t believe you’re really here.”

     

     

    “Yeah umm Ava I’d like you to meet my partner Bette Porter this is her gallery.”

     

     

    Ava’s smile faded a bit as she looked over at Bette. “Your partner.”

     

     

    Bette smiled. “Yeah her partner.” Bette reached her hand out to Eli who obediently walked over to his Ma.

     

     

    “Ava this is my Ma we’re going to be a family isn’t that cool?”

     

     

    Ava’s smile remained in place but her eyes reflected her sadness at the news but it was only there for a second until her confident demeanor returned.

     

     

    She smiled as she raised her hand out to Bette. “Hi I’m Ava Larios.”

     

     

    Bette was looking at Ava closely and was wondering why she was pretending not to know her. Tina gave her hand a little squeeze, Bette looked around and saw that everyone was looking at her as Ava still had her hand outstretched towards Bette.

     

     

    Before she knew it Bette took Ava’s hand. “Hi I’m Bette Porter.”

At first I thought the drama was with Melvin and Bette and then Alice with Oliver, but now I know that it is Ava that is the drama. Please don’t let it mess with B&T.     8. Congratulations on the award…this story is awesome! You know how to bring the drama. It was 7 pages but those 7 pages went by too quick. I think Bette should let Tina know about the one night stand also…was she the woman Bette was with that night Tina called her? This is a freakin small world…lol. How will Bette feel when she finds out how serious they were and how this chick wants to start a family with her T? I know it’s too much to ask for another post tonight…but can we get one Jan 1st? After you hangover wears off?
