    B&T reunite: The gallery opening kicks off

     

     

    “Peggy please that wasn’t funny and you’re calling attention to us.”

     

     

    Peggy’s laughter began to die down. “Melvin I truly hope that you meant what you just told Tyler. I know you’ve had a lot of people telling you what a fool you’ve been but I hope you can see that they are only doing that out of their love for Bette and Tina. Those two women have a lot of people who love them very much and would support them no matter what.”

     

     

    “I can see that…and I hardly ever say anything that I don’t mean. My support of their relationship may have been a long time coming but I meant what I said. I can see how much they love each other and I’ll try to get past my personal reservations about their union. I’ll have to if I want to keep my daughter in my life.”

     

     

    “You should tell this to Bette.”

     

     

    “My daughter isn’t very happy with me…besides tonight I’m on a sort of probation they want to see how I behave.”

     

     

    Hearing that caused Peggy to chuckle again. “Well then you better behave yourself.”

     

     

    Melvin shook his head as Peggy continued to smile in amusement.

    As Jane pulled her husband to the side she could see that Peggy was having a laugh at Melvin’s expense.

     

     

    “Tyler Hadley please don’t antagonize Bette’s father. We have to let the girl’s workout their problems with Melvin and if they need anything from us they will ask.”

     

     

    “We were merely coming to an understanding. There was no harm done love he said it himself—he can see that they love each other. Of course he wasn’t too keen on hearing me describing the girls as soulmates…”

     

     

    “Well please behave yourself tonight’s a big night for Bette. You should know how important an opening night is for a business and all the possible problems that could come up please don’t add to it.”

     

     

    Tyler looked at his wife lovingly as he raised her hand to kiss it. “I will be on my best behavior I promise and tonight we’ll take our grandson with us so the girls can have their night.”

    5. Was Ava having that one night stand with Bette because of breaking it off with Tina? You were not kidding about the drama. At first I thought the drama was with Melvin and Bette and then Alice with Oliver, but now I know that it is Ava that is the drama. Please don’t let it mess with B&T.     8. Congratulations on the award…this story is awesome! You know how to bring the drama. It was 7 pages but those 7 pages went by too quick. I think Bette should let Tina know about the one night stand also…was she the woman Bette was with that night Tina called her? This is a freakin small world…lol. How will Bette feel when she finds out how serious they were and how this chick wants to start a family with her T? I know it’s too much to ask for another post tonight…but can we get one Jan 1st? After you hangover wears off?
