    Author Notes:

    Tina talks to the boys and TIna nad Noah goes to the hospital.

    Tina is a little shocked and surprised by that question.

    “Oh sweetie, nothing is going to happen.” Tina says and pulls him into a hug.

    Alice and Shane is looking on and both are secretly wiping their eyes.

    “Mama will be okay. She’ll be fine.” Tina whispers in his ear. She kisses his cheek and then stand up.

    “You promise to come home tonight?” Danny asks, looking up with pleading eyes.

    “I promise.” Tina says and smiles at him. “Noah, go and get your jacket.” Tina says.

    Noah runs into the hallway and get his jacket. Tina follows, but walks past and slowly into Andrea’s room. She looks into the crib and smiles. She leans down and kisses her forehead and then walks out into the kitchen again.

    “If she wakes up, pick her up and hold her, okay? And tell her mommy will be home soon.” Tina says and looks at Alice and Shane

    “Off course.” Shane says.

    “Thank you. We’ll be home soon.” Tina says.

    “Yes. Go.” Alice says and pushes Tina towards the door. Noah is already standing there. They walk outside and Tina helps Noah into the car. And they drive off towards the hospital.

    Once there, Tina sees that Noah tenses up a little. He walks as close as he can to Tina and she put her arm around him. Upstairs they meet Julia.

    “Hey, hey Noah.” Julia says.

    “Hi Jules.” Noah says.

    “Hi, how is she?” Tina asks.

    “The same. I just had to get a cup of coffee.” Julia says.

    “Okay.” Tina says.

    “I’ll just go in and say bye, okay? I’ll be right back.” Julia says and walks into Bette’s room again.

    “Mom? Still awake?” Julia asks.

    “Yeah.” Bette replies tiredly.

    “What’s wrong, are you in pain?” Julia asks after hearing the tone in Bette’s voice.

    “It’s nothing. I’m sure it’s because of the medication, some of it is probably stopped working.” Bette says and give her a soft smile.

    “Okay, well, I’m leaving now, coming back tomorrow.” Julia says.

    “Okay, what time is it?” Bette asks.

    “8 o’clock. But you wont be alone. Tina’s here outside the door.” Julia says.

    Bette smiles.

    “Okay.” Bette says.

    “I’ll let her come in. I’ll be back tomorrow, okay?” Julia says and leans down and kisses Bette on the cheek. “Love you mom, get better.” Julia adds.

    8. Loved how Julia was able to bond some with her mother and then having Noah fight through his fears to see his momma. Shane and Alice are so understanding and there for both Bette and Tina when in a crisis. I do hope that Bette is able to regain her eyes sight soon. Glad your back and hope that the net thingy goes well.

    9. I’m with Noah. Hospitals smell funny. Well, the ICU and regular patient rooms do anyway. It’s like a mixture of nasty food, pee, and a big fart.

    11. Love the story Lauren just hate to see so much happen to the family. they just need to have a long stretch of years when nothing goes wrong with them. Just lots of loving and good times with children growing and getting into all kinds of things.
