    Tina talks to the boys and TIna nad Noah goes to the hospital.

    Chapter 203

     

    Back home, Andrea wakes up screaming. Tina get up from the couch and rushes into the bedroom.

    “Shhh baby, I’m right here. You’re safe. Shh.” Tina says as she picks her up and holds her close. Andrea keeps on crying. “Oh baby. You’re safe.” Tina whispers.

    “Mama.” Andrea says after a little while and push herself up to look at Tina.

    “Mama is away for a little while. She’ll be home soon.” Tina says and strokes Andrea’s back softly. Moments later Danny walks into the bedroom.

    “Mommy? Where’s mama?” He asks.

    “Go out into the living room, bring Noah with you. I’ll be right there.” Tina says.

    “Okay.” Danny replies and turn around and walk back to his room to get Noah.

    Tina is still soothing Andrea, and she’s slowly falling asleep again. She lay her down in the crib again. She keeps the light on and keep the door cracked open. She walks into the living room. Danny and Noah are seated on the couch.

    Alice and Shane knows what she’s going to do so they stand up and walk over to her.

    “We’ll stay out here while you talk to them.” Shane says.

    “Thank you.” Tina says and give them a small smile.

    Tina walks over to the couch and takes a seat between the boys and she pulls them close.

    “Where’s mama?” Noah asks and looks up at her.

    “She’s at the hospital.” Tina says and waits for the reaction from Noah.

    “She is?” Danny asks. Noah is still, he looks down. He’s still an emotional kid and remembers the hospitals like it was yesterday. Danny also remember the hospitals, and knows it’s a place where sick people is.

    “Why is she there?” Danny asks.

    “She and Andrea got into a car accident. And the doctors needs to keep her there for a little while.” Tina says. Still nothing from Noah.

    “Is she very sick? Why isn’t Andy at the hospital?” Danny asks.

    “She is very hurt. She has a broken arm. And She is blind, for the moment.” Tina says. “And Andrea got lucky. Mama protected Andrea so she wouldn’t get hurt.” Tina adds.

    “What is blind.” Danny asks. He had heard the word before, but couldn’t remember what it meant.

    8. Loved how Julia was able to bond some with her mother and then having Noah fight through his fears to see his momma. Shane and Alice are so understanding and there for both Bette and Tina when in a crisis. I do hope that Bette is able to regain her eyes sight soon. Glad your back and hope that the net thingy goes well.

    9. I’m with Noah. Hospitals smell funny. Well, the ICU and regular patient rooms do anyway. It’s like a mixture of nasty food, pee, and a big fart.

    11. Love the story Lauren just hate to see so much happen to the family. they just need to have a long stretch of years when nothing goes wrong with them. Just lots of loving and good times with children growing and getting into all kinds of things.
