“Yes, can I play with Timmy again?” He asks.
“Sure, if he’s there today.” Tina replies.
“Yippy.” Danny says.
Tina finish dressing him. He runs back into the kitchen, while Tina walks into the bedroom to change shirt. Minutes later she walks into the kitchen.
“Me too.” Noah says as he walks up to Tina. He lifts up his arms. Tina lifts him up.
“Oh, sweetie. Not today. You’ll have great fun with mama today.” Tina says and strokes his back and softly kisses his cheek.
“Yes, sweetie, we’ll go visit the Planet and aunt Kit and aunt Shane and aunt Alice. That should be fun.” Bette says and smiles.
“Okay.” Noah says and leans in and plants a kiss on Tina’s cheek.
“Thank you sweetie.” Tina says and smiles. She sets him down again.
“Danny, come here.” Bette calls out. Moments later Danny comes running. Bette lifts him up. “You be good to mommy today, okay? And have fun with all the kids.” Bette says.
“I will.” He replies.
“Good. I love you.” Bette says and kisses his cheek.
“Love you.” He replies and tries to get out of her embrace. She sets him down.
They all walks over to the door.
Tina leans in and kisses Bette softly on her lips.
“Call if anything happens.” Tina says.
“I will. And you too.” Bette says and steals another kiss.
“Love you.” Tina says.
“Love you too.” Bette says and waves them off as they leave. Noah waves too.
“So you want to go to the Planet?” Bette asks. Noah looks up at her.
“Ice cream?” He asks.
“Yes, you can have ice cream.” Bette replies. He smiles and jumps up and down.
“Yay. Now?” He says.
“Yeah yeah, calm down there.” Bette say and lets out a little laugh. “I’m not so movable as I was a few months ago.” Bette says and ruffles through his hair.
At the centre, Danny found Timmy, so they were off playing in one of the play rooms.
Tina was in her office with Angel. He’s a troubled 16 year old boy. She has daily conversations with him about everything. Home, school, work, friends, sports.
“Miss Tina, could I be excused a little earlier today?” He asks.
