Chapter 185
Later in the day, Alice, Shane and Dana comes into the room. Alice is pushing Dana’s wheelchair in. The KP Family is still asleep.
“Look at them. I wish they could get a break soon.” Alice says and looks over at the beds.
“Yeah. They deserve a break.” Shane says and walks further in. Alice walks over to Tina and softly touches her arm. She stirs a little, then opens her eyes.
“Alice, hey.” She says and carefully sits up straight, without waking Danny.
“Hey, how’s it going?” Alice asks.
“Noah needs the transplant. Danny did the bone marrow test today. It was so painful for him.” Tina says and looks down at the sleeping Danny.
“Is he okay?” Alice asks.
“Yes, he’s just a little exhausted after all the crying he did.” Tina replies.
“So how’s Noah and Bette?” Shane asks as she comes up beside Alice.
“Well, Noah is good now. We had to come in last night. He’s got an infection. But they stabilized him. He needs that transplant to make it.” Tina says and looks over at Bette and Noah. “And Bette is 7 and a half month pregnant. She’s tired and need her rest. I have a feeling that the baby will arrive sooner.” Tina says.
“You do?” Dana asks as she wheels up to them.
“Yeah. I just hope it won’t happen for at least another month. Any sooner than that, she will probably have to stay at the hospital.” Tina says and lets out a sigh.
“Tina, you’re exhausted, I’m more than happy to stay here with Noah. Why don’t you and Bette go home and get a good nights sleep.” Alice suggests.
“We tried that yesterday, but then the hospital called and we had to come here in the middle of the night.” Tina says.
“He’s fine now. I know you don’t want to leave him. But he’s not alone. And you two need to rest. You haven’t had a good nights rest in over two months Tina. Think about your self. If you’re exhausted, you wont be any good to Noah or Danny, or the baby.” Alice says.
“I know. It’s just so hard to leave him here.” Tina says.
“I can imagine. I will stay here and Shane will too.” Alice says and looks at Shane.

Alright Noah is doing better, and the other kids seems to be doing well. Now, it will be time soon for the arrival of the baby girl. I hope that everything will go well. Thank you for this story.
