She got to the hospital, parked and then ran inside and up to Tina’s room with the two infant car seats. She walks in and sees Tina sitting on the bed. Looking out of the window. She search the room for the twins. A little panic starts. She set down the seats.

“Baby?.” She softly says, not to scare Tina.

“Yeah?” Tina replies.

“WWhere are the boys?” She asks.

Tina turns around, slowly stands up and walk over to her.
“They are just in with the doctor for a final check-up. They’ll be back in just a few minutes.” Tina says and leans in for a kiss.

“Oh good, I thought something might have happened.” Bette says.

“Nope, all good. So did you bring the jog suits?” Tina asks.

“Yes I did. The grey and the blue. I’m sensing that Daniel is the grey one” Bette says and let out a little giggle.

“Yeah, I agree. Noah is such a blue person.” Tina says and smile too, as she leans in for another kiss. It grows more passionately, Tina takes a hold of Bette’s face with both hands. Their tongues are dancing. They are interrupted by a nurse who comes in with he boys.

“Sorry to interrupt, but these little guys were missing you, so I though I’d bring them back.” She says and smiles.

“Oh, thank you.” Tina says and walks over to them. The nurse leaves the room.

She stands over them and watch them, with a loving, motherly gaze. Bette comes up behind her and slides her arms around Tina, carefully not to come close to the wound.

“They are beautiful baby.” Bette whispers into Tina’s ear.

Tina leans back into Bette. “Yeah, they are, aren’t they.” She replies.

“Come on, let’s change them. You’ll take Noah and I’ll take Daniel.” Bette says and lets go of Tina and moves to lift up Daniel. She lay him carefully down on the bed.

Tina does the same with Noah. Bette takes out the jog suits. She gives the blue suit to Tina. They already wears a sleeveless bodysuit. They put the jog suits on top of those. Then Bette takes out the small hats.

“Here. Don’t want them to get an ear infection. It’s a little windy outside today.” Bette says and smiles over at Tina.

“Thanks babe.” Tina replies.

“So there little man, now you are ready to come home.” She says in a goofy voice.

“Babe, he doesn’t understand you either way. So please stop with the baby talk.” Tina says and lets out a little giggle. But she actually finds it cute, but she doesn’t say that to Bette.

“Who says? He might understand, babies are smart. At least I believe they are. They understand more than we realize.” Bette replies.

“Okay.” Tina says and shakes her head, but continues to giggle a little.

“So are we ready?” Bette says and stands up straight.

“I think we are.” Tina replies and looks down on her babies.

“Well okay then. Gather the troops, let’s go home.” Bette says and lifts up Daniel and place him in one of the seats.

Tina takes Noah up and places him on the other. Tina reaches for the handle to lift him up.

“Baby, stop. You heard what the doctor said. No lifting, here let me take them both, you can carry the bag, that’s not so heavy.” Bette says and smiles.

Bette lift them both up and the walk out of the room, hey say thank you and goodbye to the nurses and doctors.

Out by the car Bette sets both into the back seat. Tina walks around and starts fastening Daniels car seat. While Bette do Noah’s.

15 minutes later they were sure they had done it right so they left for home.
