Chapter 136 It’s twenty minutes since she left. She walks back into the room, still with a big smile on her face. She finds Tina’s eyes right away. “I’m back.” Bette says and walks over to Tina, who is now holding Daniel. Sarah is holding Noah. She turns to Bette and hands Noah over to her. “Hey there little man, you missed me?” She says softly, stroking his tiny chin. He sleeps. She walks up to Tina and leans down carefully not to wake him and kisses her. “Chris and Lauren says hi and so down my mom. Or they say congratulation.” Bette says and smiles. “Yeah, I have to call them when I get out of here.” Tina replies. “Yeah, and that will be soon. I’m taking you home in a day or so, I don’t want to celebrate Christmas in a hospital room.” Bette says and reaches her free hand and softly touch Tina’s chin. Later that day: The girls had left, so they were alone again as a family. Tina is now feeding Noah while Bette is occupying Daniels attention. The doctor enters. “Hello ladies and boys.” He says and smiles. “Hey doc.” Both Bette and Tina replies. I’m here to check on your stitches.” He says. “Oh yeah sure. This little guy is finished I think.” Tina says and looks down on Noah. Bette lower Daniel into the crib, she then lifts Noah off from Tina so the doctor could check the stitches. He lifts up the covers and then her gown. He takes off the bandage and looks closely at the wound. “How’s it look doc?” Tina asks. “It actually looks really good. I think you can go home tomorrow morning.” The doctor says. “Really?” She says and smiles. “Yeah, but you have to rest, do not do physical things, let Bette do that. You are either sitting down or laying down. Got it?” He says and smiles. “Yeah, I got it. Can the twins come with us?” Tina ask. “Yeah, I reckon they can.” He replies. Tina looks up at Bette. Bette is staring down at her and smiles. “Thank you.” Tina says. He finish the check up with putting on new bandages. “You will have to change them two times a day, and come back in a week, to hopefully remove the stitches.” The doctor says.
