“I can’t really imagine what my life would be like without you in the picture.”  She kept her eyes fixed on the calm water.

Spencer reached over for Ashley’s hand and held it, squeezing gently.  “I feel the same way Ash.”  She smiled, leaning against the shorter girl.  Ashley applied a little pressure to Spencer’s hand and brought to her lips for a quick peck.

“You’re my best friend Spence and I want to keep it that way forever.  No matter what happens down the road.”  The blue eyed blonde nodded in agreement.  “We will Ash, no matter what.”

“Aiden you dick!”  The statement ended their moment as they glanced over at a soaked Kasey.

“What?! You asked for it!”  The boy defended himself while Madison laughed.

“I asked you to toss me a Pepsi.  You went off and shook the bloody thing then gave it to me!”  Kasey spat some of the liquid from her mouth while the sticky beverage clung to her face.

“I told you payback’s a bitch!”  He replied smugly before the group was called for breakfast.

After an appetizing meal they decided to spend their last day on the beach.  The girls slipped into their bikinis and lounged on the sand.  Kasey hated bathing suits and instead wore a muscle shirt and a pair of swimming trunks.  She headed out into the lake with Ashley in tow to throw a nerf football around.

Aiden busied himself slowly applying suntan lotion to Madison’s body.  His hands roamed occasionally earning him a playful slap from the Latina.  Spencer rolled her eyes and helped Kyla apply hers.

Finally the four of them settled onto their towels and rested their eyes.  Ashley and Kasey ran the beach wildly, hacking the ball back and forth.  They dove and tumbled, laughing at one another.  They had similar personalities which made them all the more comfortable and open.  Ashley still couldn’t believe Kasey was related to Aiden.

"Hey Kase, help me get Spencer wet."
 
Kasey gave her a far off look. "Man that’s your job, not mine!"
 
"Oh God, get your mind outta the gutter will you!  I meant we drench her with water."  Ashley rolled her eyes.
 
"Don’t blame me.  I can get a little distracted being surrounded by so much eye candy."  Kasey emphasized the end of her sentence by motioning toward Ashley and the three girls lounging on the beach.
 
"Why thank you!"  Ashley struck a pose, smiling goofily while her tanned body was brilliantly accented by her light colored bikini.  "Ok ok, enough ego inflating. Let’s do this."  Kasey followed her to the beach to collect an empty cooler.
 
The two girls filled the container with lake water and hobbled over toward the group.  Aiden sat quietly a few feet away.  He shook his head and smiled as he spotted the two standing near the threesome.  Spencer was laid out between Madison and Kyla.  The girls were obviously resting their eyes as neither of them noticed Ashley and Kasey towering above them.
 
"One."  Ashley mouthed.  "Two."  They gripped the cooler tightly. "Three." SPLASH!
 
"Oh my God!"  "What the hell!"  "I’m gonna kill you guys!"  The three girls squealed and hissed as they trembled; soaked in frigid lake water.  Kasey and Ashley smiled innocently at one another before bolting from the scene.  Aiden rolled over on his side then onto his stomach admiring the simple yet effective prank.
 
"Ashley Davies you are so dead!"  Spencer jumped to her feet and sprinted after the brunette.  Kasey was then pursued by an angry Kyla and unimpressed Madison.
 
Ashley scurried into the water, standing waist high in the lake next to Kasey.  "Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea. I mean look, I’m being tailed by a crazed Latina and raging Davies pitbull."  Kasey pointed out and held her hands up protectively. 
 
"Me thinks you’re right."  She laughed as Spencer stalked closer.
 
"Who’s bright idea was this, hm?"  Kyla stood 20 feet or so from the pair.  Neither Kasey nor Ashley moved, they wouldn’t give each other up.  "It was Ashley’s idea!"  Aiden yelled from shore, loving every minute of this.  Ashley flipped him off, "Thanks Dennison."
 
"We’ll get him after."  Spencer informed Kyla and Madison as they closed in on their prey.
 
"Remind me to use ice water next time, your face was absolutely priceless."  Kasey grinned at Kyla who narrowed her eyes.  Ashley nodded in agreement.  "Really?"  Before Kasey could reply she was pushed backward and beneath the surface of the water by Madison’s weight.  She gurgled and squirmed trying to free herself from the girls’ grasps.
 
Ashley’s eyes were locked onto Kasey momentarily before remembering Spencer.  "Oh shi-"  Spencer pounced on her back, forcing her into the water.  She closed her eyes and decided to play with the blonde a little more.  Kasey had come up for air only to be dunked again by Kyla.  The younger Davies sibling laughed and high-fived the Latina.
 
Madison finally marched away from the group toward a humored Aiden.  "So you think that was funny, huh?"  She crossed her arms, smiling mischievously.  "Me? No, of course not."  He stood and prepared himself for Madison’s onslaught as he ran for the shoreline.
 
Kyla finally let Kasey up; the short haired brunette wiped her eyes.  She noticed Spencer frantically searching for Ashley.  "Where is she?! Oh my God, did I drown her!?"  Just then Ashley plopped up to the surface, face down and motionless.  Spencer’s eyes widened in fear.  Kasey noticed the girl breathing and shook her head.  "I think she needs a little mouth to mouth Spence!"  She yelled.
 
Ashley giggled and looked up at the blonde.  Spencer stood wide mouthed.  She reached out and pushed Ashley into the water yet again.  "You scared the shit outta me Ash!"  Ashley emerged laughing.  "Can I get that mouth to mouth now Spence?"  She puckered up.  "Ugh, you wish Davies."  Pushing Ashley backwards she stalked off.
 
"Uh oh, I think you’re in the dog house Ash."  Kasey commented.  "She’s not the only one."  Kyla followed Spencer’s retreating form, neither of them were mad but wanted the two culprits to think they were.  "What?! I thought it was funny!"  She yelled at them then glanced over at a shrugging Ashley.
 
"Do we have any ice left in the other coolers?"  Kasey asked.  She was overheard by Kyla and Spencer who in turn spun around and glared.
 
"You just don’t learn do you Kasey?"  Spencer began walking toward her.  "Huh? I meant ice for the…" ‘Think you dink, think!’ "…the……" ’Good going doofus.’  "Ice for the Pepsi I have…in my…truck.." ’Brilliant, absolutely brilliant!’  Spencer laughed at her poor attempt of an excuse.  "Right."  She supplied.
