    4 years later…

     

    “Yeah that’s her.”  Spencer said taking the picture.  It was always one of her favorites.  Spencer always came out of her shell when she was with Ashley.  This picture showed her true side as they were both making faces at the camera.

     

    “She’s hot.”  Amanda said.  Even though Amanda wasn’t gay, she still could appreciate a girl’s body and face.

     

    “Yeah she is.”  Amanda looked at Spencer. “So you’re not even going to call her when you get back?”

     

    Spencer looked at her friend suspiciously.  She didn’t answer because Amanda should already know what she would say.  “All I’m saying Spence is that you could get any girl now.  I know what she did to you was messed up but, it might be worth it in the end.”  Spencer just laughed a ‘Ha!’ and threw a pillow at her friend.  It would be interesting to see Ashley again, but as far as Spencer knew she was in New York.  She set her thoughts aside until another day.  She figured she’d decide when she was actually back in the states.  For now she was just going to spend her last weeks hanging out with her friend in the place she had called home the last four years.

    “Mom? Dad?! Glen?! I’m home!”  Spencer yelled into the house.

     

    “Honey!  You made it!”  Arthur came walking up to his daughter with open arms.  He still looked good.  He had a few more gray hairs but he still looked like good old Arthur Carlin.  “How was the flight?”

     

    “Ugh, long and…long.”  Spencer laughed as her dad chuckled.  “Where is mom? And Glen?”  Spencer asked her father.

     

    “Your mother had some emergency in the ER.  She wanted to be home by the time you got here but you know how things go and Glen should be getting off work soon.”  He told her.

     

    “Yeah, it’s okay though.  I get to catch up with my favorite dad!”  He chuckled as Spencer teased him.  She brought her things up to her old room.  She told her parents that she only needed a place to stay for a couple weeks so she can get situated with a new apartment.  She sat on her old bed.  She hadn’t been home much since she’s been in school.  The flights were always so expensive and long it was just too much to go through for a couple of days away from school.  The sheets on her bed were fresh and clean, which meant that her mom was using this room as a guest room.  A few things had changed, but it was mostly the same.

    3. Ok, so I just caught up on this story and I REALLY like it. I agree with dawniekey, you can tell Spence isn’t over it, and neither is Ashley. I can’t wait till they talk. I hope you update 3 times in a row like you did today, LOL. This story is great, PMASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway I would have though Ashley would have had more emotion about the subject of Spencer than what she did, its to bad shes probably going to get turned down…a lot, because she was a dip-shit. Great post, though looking forward to the next great one.
