PREVIOUSLY
ASHLEY’S P.O.V.
Ashley: “No-” I say shaking my head. “I would know. It would kill me, I’m not like you Spencer, I can’t just kiss someone because they’re there, I have a conscience. I have a girlfriend.” I say sternly. “You’re just too late Spencer. You’re chance has come and gone. I’m with Emily and as I’ve said before, I am not leaving her for you, so stop being selfish and back off.”
She’s looking at me, teary eyed, biting her lips together. She shuts her eyes and her tears fall. Yea, I feel bad, and it hurts, but I’m not backing down, I can’t.
Ashley: “I have to go.” I can’t sit her and watch her cry, because if I do, I’ll break. I stand up and take a few steps away. “Be at my car when the bell rings.” I say, never looking back at her, then I walk away.

SPENCER’S P.O.V.
After that things were really…uncomfortable. Ashley and I never talked about it, mostly because Emily was always around. When ever I was around Ashley, I would freeze up. And it was even worse when Emily’s was over. So for a while I just tried to avoid those awkward moments. It’s been a while now so let me just catch you up on things. I kind of told my parents. Or my mom, my dad already knew. Whatever. So here we go…
So, I was with my mom. One of those mother daughter bonding and shopping things.
Paula: “It’s been a while since you and Aiden broke up, right Spence?”
Spencer: “Yea.” I hate talking about dating with my mom. It’s always so…awkward.
Paula: “This is like the longest you’ve been single.”
Spencer: “Yep…” I say not looking at her, thumbing through the shirts on a rack.
Paula: “No one spark your interest or…what?”
Spencer: “Yea, I’m interested in someone. But they’re taken.” I say sadly and continue looking for clothes.
Paula: “Oh…” yea. “Well who is it?”
Spencer: “Mom. Do we have to talk about this.” she sighed.
Paula: “Why is it that we never talk about things like this anymore?”
Spencer: “Because it would just be too awkward.” I say annoyed.
Paula: “Spencer, maybe if you talked to me more than you do now, it wouldn’t be so awkward for you.”

I’m happy that Paula took the news so well. At least Spencer didn’t get disowned or anything. But I agree with the rest of the guys, HURRY with the Spashley please. I know I said I would be patient but it REALLY isn’t one of my virtues…:-( Anyways, great update!! PMS!!
I’m really glad you decided to let paula be ok with Spencer being Bi. I t was really funny when she asked Spencer about the girl. Please let ther be Speashley soon, don’t get me wrong, I like Emily, she hasn;t done anything for me to NOT like her but I want Spashley. If you don’t do it right now, at least bring someone into spencer’s life, preferably a girl, so she be a little happy. And it’s always nice to see how Ashley would react.
wow paula took it really good. see spencer was all worried and scared over nothing. i think spence should start dating maybe a girl but have not be serious. might as well while she’s waiting for ash. great update!!!!pms!!
