Preciosa – (Chapter: What’s It Going To Be?)
“I have a problem Ash. It’s both with drugs and alcohol and I know it’s out of control. I stood and looked at myself in the mirror one day and saw what a mess I had become. Steph ran into the bathroom and after looking into her innocent eyes I couldn’t let it continue. I need to clean up…my family has abandoned us…we have no one.” Aiden said with tears forming in his eyes. He looked down and rubbed the tears away with his forearm.
Ashley felt her heart sink at the sight of her former best friend breaking down in front of her. She saw Spencer looking at her with a sad look. Spencer returned her attention back to the young girl and Ashley knew what her final decision would be.
“Aiden…I know you want me to look after Stephanie while you get clean…I was surprised and shocked that you would think I would be capable of taking care of a child…”
“I always knew you would be a great mom.” Aiden said softly.
Ashley felt her heart tighten a little thinking back to when she lost the baby but she shook the memories away. “I thought about this and talked it over with Spencer…and…” Ashley looked towards Spencer who nodded her head urging the brunette to continue. “And we decided that we would look after Stephanie for you.”
Aiden looked up at Ashley with tears of joy and stood up. He looked as if he wanted to give someone a hug but there was no one there he could hug except his young daughter. He picked her up and squeezed her tight. Spencer made her way over to Ashley and kissed her softly on the cheek. “Thank you so much…it’s only going to be maybe a year or two…I hope…I’m really not sure but I’m going to do my best to get out of there as soon as I can.”
“Don’t rush the process though Aid…We agree to take care of Stephanie until you are clean…and I mean clean…You have to promise me that when we sign the guardianship papers that you state in there that I am not to relinquish my guardianship rights until you have completed the full program. You must have a job and a home at the end of all this.”
Aiden nodded his head and looked at his small daughter. “Well sweetie…how would you like to stay with Aunt Ashley and Aunt Spencer for a little while?”
The young girl looked at her father with a sideways glance and quickly clapped her hands. Spencer and Ashley smiled at how much energy the young girl had.
Aiden offered his hand to Ashley. “Thank you Ashley. I mean it…you are a life saver.”
Ashley shook his hand. “Don’t think this changes everything between us.”
“I know I know. You still don’t trust me but I’m really not the same guy you knew back in high school. Maybe one day you will see that. I was thinking this weekend we could move Stephanie in with you and we could settle all the paperwork. Does that work for you?”
Ashley nodded. “Yeah this weekend will be fine. Here’s our address and phone number. Call when you are on your way over.” Aiden nodded.
Ashley waved goodbye to Stephanie and Spencer did the same. Stephanie waved her hand enthusiastically at both girls while Aiden made his way out with her in his arms.
Spencer took a seat in front of the brunette and pushed a strand of hair out of Ashley’s face. “So…do you feel good about this decision?”
“Honestly…yeah…I do.”
“Well does this officially make you a MILF?”
“Spencer!” Ashley said smiling up at her fiancée. Spencer smiled widely and leaned down to kiss the brunette’s mouth.
“What you don’t want to be considered a MILF? Because you sooo are!”
“Is that right?”
“Mmmhmm.”
“Well once we get married then I guess that would technically make you a MILF too huh?” Ashley said letting her hand run down the blonde’s thigh.
“You’re right. Do you think I could get more dates that way?” Spencer said with her finger under her chin pretending she was in deep thought.
“Hey…that’s not nice. You are mine…and I am yours.” Ashley said pulling the blonde into her lap.
“Always and forever my love.”

Alright, your fanfics are like some sort of addicting drug. Unfair, very very unfair… I should be training or working but noooo, I’m here reading your stories haha Good job, keep ’em up! You’re an amazing writer with a great imagination.
So what can I say…another great update. I don’t comment all the time, but believe me I’m following along through your journey. I hope that Aiden doesn’t try to use his daughter to get back into Ashley’s life. We can’t have that. Sometimes I just want Spencer and Ashley to be happy together without any drama pulling them apart. I mean they can have the regular daily life drama (like why didn’t you go to the grocery store and pick up some more juice or arguing about not putting gas in the car), but not “nearly break-up” drama. Okay, I’m done venting. But I really am enjoying your story. Makes me want to write again…Post more soon.
great update keep up the good work. cant wait for the next update. PMS
