Preciosa – (Chapter: What’s It Going To Be?)

“Thanks for agreeing to see us Ashley.” Aiden said nervously.

“Please you can have a seat.” Ashley said motioning towards the chair in front of her desk.

As Aiden was pulling the chair over he saw the blonde sitting on the couch. “Oh hi…I hope I’m not interrupting something.” Aiden said standing upright again.

“Not at all…Aiden…this is my fiancée Spencer Carlin.”

Spencer stood and extended her hand to Aiden. “It’s nice to meet you. I’m only here for moral support. Hi there sweetie. What’s your name?” Spencer said squatting and reaching out her hand to the young girl. The girl looked up at Aiden who nodded his head slightly. She slowly reached out and shook Spencer’s hand which made Ashley smile.

“Her name is Stephanie…So fiancée? Wow Ash that’s great.” Aiden said sincerely. “You sure have a real looker here.” Aiden said smiling at Spencer.

“Yes I sure do.” Ashley said watching as Spencer led Stephanie to sit with her on the couch. She pulled out a music magazine for the young girl to look through while Ashley and Aiden spoke.

“Please…” Ashley said motioning to the chair. Aiden took a seat and the two stared awkwardly at one another.

Aiden cleared his throat. “I wanted to apologize to you Ash. I know it may be too little too late but I know what I did back in high school was unfair to you and Kyla. I took advantage of our friendship and I have regretted my actions ever since.” Ashley sat with a blank expression as Aiden continued. “Ever since Maddy died…” He paused and took a deep breath. “I have been having such a hard time dealing.”

He looked over to his little girl and nodded his head as if he were confirming a decision. He turned back towards the brunette and took another deep breath. “I wanted to ask you a favor…which is more than I could ever expect from you. You have every right to hate me but what I’m going to ask you is not just about me.” Ashley looked over at Stephanie and Spencer who were looking at the pictures in the magazines.

“I don’t hate you Aiden…I don’t necessarily like you either but I don’t hate you.”

    1. Alright, your fanfics are like some sort of addicting drug. Unfair, very very unfair… I should be training or working but noooo, I’m here reading your stories haha Good job, keep ’em up! You’re an amazing writer with a great imagination.

    2. So what can I say…another great update. I don’t comment all the time, but believe me I’m following along through your journey. I hope that Aiden doesn’t try to use his daughter to get back into Ashley’s life. We can’t have that. Sometimes I just want Spencer and Ashley to be happy together without any drama pulling them apart. I mean they can have the regular daily life drama (like why didn’t you go to the grocery store and pick up some more juice or arguing about not putting gas in the car), but not “nearly break-up” drama. Okay, I’m done venting. But I really am enjoying your story. Makes me want to write again…Post more soon.
