Perfect Strangers, Perfect Match – (Chapter: Ch1-7 repost)

She barged through half running, half walking “what took you so long? Didn’t you hear me?”

“Umm who on this block didn’t hear you?” I said chuckling to myself, closing the door.

“I have got to use the bathroom…are you ready to go?” she yelled closing the door to the bathroom.

“Yeah” I told her, while taking one last look at myself in the mirror.

“Spence you look fantastic! Gurl you clean up good! You are gonna make the women and men drool tonight!” she said.

“What ever” I said feeling my face turn red “you look good yourself!”

“Thanks, okay let’s go before Richard throws a fit. You know he’s got a date with David tonight? And we better not make him later than he already is!” knowing he can be such the queen when he wanted to.

Out in the car, Richard is checking himself out in the mirror “are you dating the mirror tonight” I said as I got in laughing.

“Hey, there is nothing wrong with looking nice!” he shot back at me, adding a wink “besides honey you look hot tonight” he said leaning over kissing me on my cheek. “If I was a woman, baby, I’d be all over you”

“Yeah, I’m not buying it” I joked “you love the men way to much” I said kissing him back.

“Gurl you got that right” he said snapping his fingers.

“So, whose party are we crashing” Chelsea asked from the back seat.

“It’s a friend from high school. Now girls I didn’t tell you this before, but this is a good friend of mine. No matter what you read about him he is a great guy and has a big heart. Not to mention I’ve known him since grade school” he said looking between the two of us.

“Ok, you going to ask or am I” I said looking at Chelsea. She just pointed at me “why would we read about him? Who is he?”

“You guys, and by you guys I mean Chelsea, promise to not scream like school girls?” he said eying Chelsea in the review mirror.

    “Yes” she said getting impatient.
