    Spencer gives in.

    “You want me to be your mistress?” Ashley said in disbelief.

    “Well, what else am I supposed to do? I want you, Ashley. I do. But I can’t leave Rachel.”

    “I can’t fucking believe you right now. You know, I almost feel sorry for this Rachel chick. Here you are proposing that I have some kind of torrid affair with you while she’s at home playing your dutiful, fucking Stepford wife!”

    “Oh, come on! You didn’t seem to have a problem with it last night! But I guess it only works if you initiate it. Is that how it is? You’re such a control freak.”

    “I’m a control freak? Am I really supposed to believe that you don’t get off on dragging me around? Admit that you love knowing I still have it bad for you. You love doing this…this…this thing you do where you make me jump through hoops and then tell me no!”

    “If that’s what I do then I can almost guarantee I learned it from you.”

                Ashley said nothing. Instead she examined Spencer from head to toe, checking to make sure this was the same girl from last night. Spencer made good use of the pause in conversation by running into Ashley’s bedroom and getting dressed in her clothes from the previous night. The brunette followed her in, still angry.

    “I just don’t get it, Spence. This isn’t like you.”

    “How do you know who I am? It’s been a long time. Things change.”

    “But if she’s not the whole package now, Spencer, then she won’t ever be. Why would you want someone who doesn’t make you completely happy?”

    “She makes me happy.”

    “Does she make you feel the way I make you feel?”

    For the first time in a while, Spencer answered honestly, “No. Nowhere close.”

    “Then why stay with her?”

    “Because if I don’t love her…if I don’t love her the same way I love you then I also won’t ever get hurt the same way I got hurt by you.”

    “Spencer, I promise that I’m ready for this. I’m ready for you. But you have to give me a chance in order to find that out.”

    “I can’t,” Spencer said, and with that she turned and walked out of the loft, leaving a disappointed Ashley Davies in her wake.

    3. Damn I don’t blame Spencer but does she really think that by having Ashley be her “mistress” that she wouldn’t get hurt just the same if Ashley tried to leave…..duh Spence you will get hurt no matter what drop your walls dumb ass and Ashley don’t fuck up again!! I freaking love this story.

I am so fucking pissed right now….I don’t know where to start….I am mad at Spencer for even coming up with the idea of Ashley being her mistress….here Ashley said she had changed and Spencer says something retarded like that, and I am pissed at Ashley for fucking up the one good thing in her life…Spencer can’t marry Rachel…she knows that it will never last, and its unfair to Rachel for Spencer to stay in a relationship she is not committed to….something needs to give….PMS…Awesome Update
