“Is something burning?” Spencer asked as she stood in the doorway, a small frown on her face.
“Um…yes,” Ashley said with a smile. Spencer looked adorable. It had been so long since she had experienced the joy of seeing the blonde’s face first thing in the morning.
“Am I supposed to eat…whatever that is?” she asked, pointing at six coal-colored lumps sitting on a gorgeous crystal platter.
“Oh no! Those are totally for looks only. I called my favorite little café from down the street. They’re bringing us enough food for twenty people.”
“Ash, that sounds amazing, but I really have to go. Rachel is probably worried sick by now.”
“Oh, that’s right. I almost forgot about…that,” Ashley said, untying her apron.
“I mean, I sent her a text message. She knows I stayed here.”
“What lie did you tell her?”
Spencer swallowed, her throat suddenly dry, “I told her that we started talking and before I knew it I had one too many glasses of wine. It was safer for me to stay the night here.”
“I see. Nice save, Spence,” Ashley said, her voice dripping with angry sarcasm.
“What did you expect me to tell her? Hey, Rach, Ashley got upset and I ended up comforting her with my vagina?”
“Oh, so you were just trying to comfort me? Great. Let me tell you something, Spence. I don’t need any favors, ok?!”
“Hey…hey, I’m sorry,” Spencer, replied walking towards the fuming brunette, “last night was incredible. And it wasn’t some lame favor I was doing for you, ok? It was for me too…and somehow, I don’t regret any of it.”
“Oh yeah?” Ashley said, her emergency walls crashing down one by one as Spencer ran her fingers through her hair.
“Yeah…I’ve really missed having you inside me.”
The words alone sent a wave of electricity through Ashley and she had to remind herself that she would never be inside Spencer again.
“Really?”
“Really,” Spencer replied before planting a kiss on Ashley’s lips.
“You’ll have to excuse me, Spence, but I don’t understand what’s going on here. I mean, you’re marrying Rachel…and last night you were very clear that it was a one-time reunion.”
“Yeah…so?”
“So, why are you still kissing me?”
“I guess I did a lot of thinking last night…and I don’t understand why Rachel would ever have to know if you and I…still…you know…hooked up.”

Damn I don’t blame Spencer but does she really think that by having Ashley be her “mistress” that she wouldn’t get hurt just the same if Ashley tried to leave…..duh Spence you will get hurt no matter what drop your walls dumb ass and Ashley don’t fuck up again!! I freaking love this story.

I am so fucking pissed right now….I don’t know where to start….I am mad at Spencer for even coming up with the idea of Ashley being her mistress….here Ashley said she had changed and Spencer says something retarded like that, and I am pissed at Ashley for fucking up the one good thing in her life…Spencer can’t marry Rachel…she knows that it will never last, and its unfair to Rachel for Spencer to stay in a relationship she is not committed to….something needs to give….PMS…Awesome Update
