And then Carmen starts to laugh.
Carmen: “Where you from, beautiful?”
Eve: “Carmen…” Carmen waves her off, ignoring her friend’s concerned tone.
Carmen: “It’s alright, Eve.” She says, smiling at Jess again. “Ya’ll just need to relax.”
I have never, in all my life, heard such a sickening sound before. It’s a combination of a crack and the sound of a sponge being stepped on. And it happened so quickly, no one, especially Carmen, was prepared for it.
Gage: “I hate the south.” She spits out to no one in particular as Carmen’s unconscious body collapses on the floor. Gage hit her a little harder than necessary.
But it’s on.
I watch, helplessly as Kat charges at Kelly but all I see is a flash of blonde hair race over to Kat before Sara’s hand slaps her firmly across the face, making the girl’s head snap back painfully.
Kat’s shock only lasts for a few seconds, before it turns to anger. She practically leaps onto Sara’s tall frame, both getting tangled up in each other’s arms as a slew of curses to go flying.
Kelly charges at Sue, leading with her fist, as Gage goes after Patty, by far the biggest girl amongst them. Sara and Kat are in a flailing match; both attempting to strike and dodging each slap and punch. Kelly and Sue are basically going punch for punch and Gage just looks like she’s playing with her food; deflecting punches and smirking at the tall dark haired girl with confidence.
Then everything changed.
Rachel and Laurie decide to join the fight, slamming Sara against the door and sucker punching Gage, respectfully.
Ashley: “Stay here, okay?” She begs me quickly before giving my cheek a swift kiss. I turn to look at her, mouth hanging open, but she is already up and racing towards Rachel, grabbing her around the waist and bringing her down on the floor hard.
Jess actually bitch slaps Laurie, making her stumble. I can’t discern what anyone is actually saying, but I watch in shock as the scene unfolds. Chris and Lindsey, along with Patty, are triple teaming Gage. And it appears that the only way they’ll win is if they each clone themselves.
Eve is hovering on the outskirts of the brawl, uncertain about what she should do. Eve isn’t a mean-spirited person and hardly a fighter, but her friends are losing the fight and she seems tempted to help.

as always where to start?!? my favorite thought of spence’s ‘If I have a brain aneurism I wonder if Gage can operate drunk’ that one had me rollin. carmen’s got a hell of a lot of nerve, the bitch. gage’s mom is the shit! I can’t believe spence wants to stay another night and I’m dying to know what will happen at the party. and of course what’s gonna go down when she sees the ‘rents. LOL and the private jet thing… hell yea spence make ’em drool girl. wonderful update!! cannot wait for more!

I just can’t get over how much I love this story and how excited I get when I see an update. Fantabulous job as always. Loved the list of thoughts, the new thoughts, and the new new thoughts. I especially loved how you began this chapter, like a fairytale. Very classy. I can’t wait for the last chapter of SD. pms!!

hahahah…. Gage’s mom… there are no words besides diva. The bar fight was truely enevitable, but when these ladies brawl, hot dog and damn they do it so well. I’m glad that everyone apologized (from both sides0 but i’m really not looking foreward to this party, cuz well, i still dont like carmen or her little friends I absolutly loved this chapter and i wait with baited breath for the next and all that come after it. pms soon please
I read this last night but I was too sleepy to write a lucid comment. Yeah, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it! Gage so reminds me of Mr. Miyagi in Karate Kid where he gets underestimated because of his small stature. But then watch out! She’s so ninja, I love it! I love all your original characters but I have to say that Gage is my all-time favorite. I love how she’s so deep, stoic, protective and sensitive but still vain enough to ask her mom to bring some hair dye. Can’t mess with the hair! Poor Mrs. Erikson, if she turned her nose up at having to bail them out from a downtown NY jail, I can imagine how she feels now. She’s being a cool mom though. The Inquisition was genius! The girls could learn a thing or two from her. As much as I want to hate Carmen I can sort of understand why she flaked when she did. It was probably the easier course, instead of having to fight to swim upstream, especially in such a small town with the clichéd small town mentality. So funny that Spencer finds jealous Ashley so hot. Is there going to be lesbian on lesbian bonding at the party???? Brilliant as always, Stix. I look forward to the perfect SD ending. p.s. and i’m a little scared as well but bring it on! Hugs for you, too!
wow what an awesome chapter. It still amazes me how good this story is! this was an exceptionally great chapter, so funny but kept me interested too. I can’t wait to see what happens with spencer and her parents. I really don’t like carmen though. I don’t trust her, I hope she doesn’t mess anything up! Anyways, pms!!!

I’m in love with gage’s mom…she rocks and is so smart and doesn’t get on gage’s case about going to jail…i wonder how many times she has been in jail, i mean at least two times that we’ve read about but i’m sure there is more pms
Heh! You’ve made my day again! I’ve been sick and that is just what I needed to put me well on the road to recovery! High points? Spencer’s drunken rants are always hilarious, the whole fight scene rocked, Ashley’s reaction when Spencer mentioned sex with another girl made me smile, I want to marry Mrs Erikson, prison sex = hell yeah! and the comment not to bring the cuffs into the car…..it was all brilliant! Oh, I’m glad you threw in the jet comment too lol! Just re-affirms who the bitches are dealing with!! Um, I’m nervous about Spencer seeing her parents but can’t wait to read it either *sigh*! this chapter was awesome!!! lol spencer being rocked to sleep by kelly and sara, i had to laugh at that.i agree with everyone else. gage’s mother is awesome. and carmen has GOT to get over herself. and the end with spencer telling them she travels by private jet now. absolutely hilarious. PMS. can’t wait to see spencer’s family in this. i love this story!!
Absolutely brilliant update. I think Gage’s mom needs her own story. This party could get ugly with Carmen chasing Spencer and Ashley watching. But I cant wait so post soon please

How awesome is Gage’s mom!!! seriously, that woman was hilarious! Love her! I’m nervous about Spencer and her parents, but honestly, I’m a little nervous about the party and Carmen… Hopefully nothing happens with her and her lingering feelings… that would suck… stix you rock!
