And there’s me. Sitting straight up in my seat, eyes wide, mouth open, completely drunk and unsure of what to do, eyes darting back and forth to each brawl. They’re all fighting because of me. I watch as Sara’s nails drag down Kat’s cheek before shoving her hard into the wall. Kelly’s fist connects with Sue’s chin, snapping her head backwards. Gage just sent Chris flying to the floor and Jesus, she just head butted Patty. Lindsey now looks very apprehensive about continuing this fight with my short friend. Gage must be reallllly drunk, cause she’s tearing shit up.
Jess and Laurie are in the middle of a slap-fest, pulling hair and screaming at one another. And Ashley? Ashley has Rachel still pined to the ground deflecting hits and periodically landing some. But I’m worried about her. She’s clearly winning her fight but I don’t want even a scratch on her beautiful face. And besides that, this is not what I wanted! This was what I was afraid of.
Spencer: “You guys!” I scream from my seat, finally snapping out of my daze. But no one is listening. “YOU GUYS!”
I yell, louder than before as I stand up on the table, arms at my side. Gage punches Lindsey into my table and she stays huddled there on the floor, breathing hard and holding her cheek. Now that Gage’s attackers have all given up, the fight seems to be pretty much over; everyone breathing hard, doubled-over, and slowly, they all look up at me.
Spencer: “We can’t do this! Look at yourselves! Lesbian on lesbian fighting?” Only the sound of their breathing answers me back. “Look, I came here not to fight but to find myself in a world where there are no answers and just lots and lots of questions, questions like how my parents will react towards me when I see them tomorrow and if Pluto the dog minds that Goofy gets to wear clothes but he doesn’t, questions like where we’ll all end up in a year, together or separate and I can’t stand watching you all hurt one another especially after all the pain that has been inflicting on me and by some of the people that are standing in this very room and I mean you three, Patty, Sue, and Kat, and I guess Carmen when she eventually wakes up which I really hope is in the near future because the trip would be slightly dampened if Gage killed a girl but all those questions and more should be what we are concerned about and be fighting with our words not our fists because that’s what people expect from a bunch a drunken lesbian dykes and I’m aware that saying ‘lesbian dykes’ is redundant but that’s not the point the point is that we are all practically grownups and we should start acting like it by extending our friendship and giving hugs not black eyes, I mean take Chris for instance, Gage did you know that Chris has an antic car collection and that every Saturday she washes all five of her cars because of how proud she is of them and I know because we use to have sex in said cars before she washed them and Sara did you know that Sue absolutely loves romance novels and I’m aware that you mostly like to read history books but you like to have a lot of sex and that’s got to be some kind of jumping-off point to a friendship but what I’m trying to say here guys is that if we can just look past our differences and try to get along we might find that we actually have something in common with one another and that there is no need to fight when we could all be friends!”

as always where to start?!? my favorite thought of spence’s ‘If I have a brain aneurism I wonder if Gage can operate drunk’ that one had me rollin. carmen’s got a hell of a lot of nerve, the bitch. gage’s mom is the shit! I can’t believe spence wants to stay another night and I’m dying to know what will happen at the party. and of course what’s gonna go down when she sees the ‘rents. LOL and the private jet thing… hell yea spence make ’em drool girl. wonderful update!! cannot wait for more!

I just can’t get over how much I love this story and how excited I get when I see an update. Fantabulous job as always. Loved the list of thoughts, the new thoughts, and the new new thoughts. I especially loved how you began this chapter, like a fairytale. Very classy. I can’t wait for the last chapter of SD. pms!!

hahahah…. Gage’s mom… there are no words besides diva. The bar fight was truely enevitable, but when these ladies brawl, hot dog and damn they do it so well. I’m glad that everyone apologized (from both sides0 but i’m really not looking foreward to this party, cuz well, i still dont like carmen or her little friends I absolutly loved this chapter and i wait with baited breath for the next and all that come after it. pms soon please
I read this last night but I was too sleepy to write a lucid comment. Yeah, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it! Gage so reminds me of Mr. Miyagi in Karate Kid where he gets underestimated because of his small stature. But then watch out! She’s so ninja, I love it! I love all your original characters but I have to say that Gage is my all-time favorite. I love how she’s so deep, stoic, protective and sensitive but still vain enough to ask her mom to bring some hair dye. Can’t mess with the hair! Poor Mrs. Erikson, if she turned her nose up at having to bail them out from a downtown NY jail, I can imagine how she feels now. She’s being a cool mom though. The Inquisition was genius! The girls could learn a thing or two from her. As much as I want to hate Carmen I can sort of understand why she flaked when she did. It was probably the easier course, instead of having to fight to swim upstream, especially in such a small town with the clichéd small town mentality. So funny that Spencer finds jealous Ashley so hot. Is there going to be lesbian on lesbian bonding at the party???? Brilliant as always, Stix. I look forward to the perfect SD ending. p.s. and i’m a little scared as well but bring it on! Hugs for you, too!
wow what an awesome chapter. It still amazes me how good this story is! this was an exceptionally great chapter, so funny but kept me interested too. I can’t wait to see what happens with spencer and her parents. I really don’t like carmen though. I don’t trust her, I hope she doesn’t mess anything up! Anyways, pms!!!

I’m in love with gage’s mom…she rocks and is so smart and doesn’t get on gage’s case about going to jail…i wonder how many times she has been in jail, i mean at least two times that we’ve read about but i’m sure there is more pms

Spencer’s drunken rants are always hilarious, the whole fight scene rocked, Ashley’s reaction when Spencer mentioned sex with another girl made me smile, I want to marry Mrs Erikson, prison sex = hell yeah! and the comment not to bring the cuffs into the car…..it was all brilliant! Oh, I’m glad you threw in the jet comment too lol! Just re-affirms who the bitches are dealing with!! Um, I’m nervous about Spencer seeing her parents but can’t wait to read it either *sigh*! this chapter was awesome!!! lol spencer being rocked to sleep by kelly and sara, i had to laugh at that.i agree with everyone else. gage’s mother is awesome. and carmen has GOT to get over herself. and the end with spencer telling them she travels by private jet now. absolutely hilarious. PMS. can’t wait to see spencer’s family in this. i love this story!!
Absolutely brilliant update. I think Gage’s mom needs her own story. This party could get ugly with Carmen chasing Spencer and Ashley watching. But I cant wait so post soon please

I’m nervous about Spencer and her parents, but honestly, I’m a little nervous about the party and Carmen… Hopefully nothing happens with her and her lingering feelings… that would suck… stix you rock!
