I jumped away from her and wiped my mouth. I turned to Kyla but she wasn’t watching me. I followed her gaze until mine fell on Spencer. I turned back to ‘Becca when I heard her snicker and I could just feel the cockiness radiating off of her. I turned back toward Spencer’s direction to see her walking off.

"Spencer," I mumbled under my breathe. I wasn’t going to go after her even though I thought I should. She had to realize that it wasn’t what it looked like. But Kyla was already going after her as fast as she could considering, screaming her name. I turned back to ‘Becca. "Thanks. Did you really have to do that?" I growled at her.

"What?" she said, feigning innocence. I just turned and walked away from her. I wasn’t following after Spencer, just heading to the car, but I caught some of her and Kyla’s conversation as I passed.

"It isn’t what it looked like, Spencer."

"Could’ve fooled me."

"She really has given it up."

There was more that I didn’t hear as they began whispering. I finally made it to the car and leaned against it still in eye shot of the two of them. Then Kyla started making her way to me, leaving Spencer where she stood. I was still staring at Spencer when Kyla reached me. Even from this distance, Spencer looked breathe taking. I could tell that she had toned up a little and I figured it was due to the running Kyla said she did.

"She’s willing to talk, if you’ll go over there." Kyla said, bringing my focus back to her.

"It wasn’t supposed to happen this way." I told her

"Just go Ash. Sometimes, things don’t go according to plan." she said and shoved me away from the car and toward Spencer.

　

I watched as Kyla push her toward me. Watching her now, my heart went into overdrive. It hammered in my chest so much I thought I might have bruises and there wasn’t anything I could do to stop it.

"Hi" she said as she reached me. She wasn’t looking at me, but at her feet. I crossed my arms over my chest, shuffled abit and looked down too.
