It had been a week since I hung up in Kyla, but I couldn’t stay mad at her for long. Currently we were making our way through the fourth baby store, the Stork’s Nest, looking for the perfect crib.

"This one isn’t it either." Kyla said walking away from me. I took the price tag in my heand and turned it over. My jaw dropped in shock.

"You sure it wouldn’t work?" I asked. "I think a crib over $3000.00 would work for anyone." I said, catching up to her.

"No, me and Aiden have a theme for the baby’s room and just any crib won’t do. Come on, lets try The Wee Shop." and she headed for the door. I sighed, not really in the mood for another baby store. don’t get me wrong, I loved my sister and wanted the best for my nefew, but I had other things on my mind at the moment. Like the fact that Kyla hadn’t mentioned Spencer once, which I didn’t mind, but seeing as I had been all over L.A. with her this week, I hadn’t run into her either.

I wasn’t going to call Spencer, she deserved to hear what I had to tell her face to face. It was all up to Spencer anyway. I just needed to talk to her. I was hoping she would come to me but it wasn’t working out that way.

"Let’s stop and get something to eat. We’re not that far from UCLA, and there’s this little outdoor place we could go to." Kyla said pulling me out of my thoughts. I thought about it, and it was deffinately a good chance I might see Spencer.

"Sure, why not." I said. "Gotta get little man there some nourishment." I smiled at her. I kept telling myself that If I did see Specer that I wouldn’t do anything. I would let her make the first move. It’s the way it was supposed to be.

Kyla found an empty table on shaded part of the sidewalk while I got the food. I took my seat across from her and started handing her the food.

"This isn’t what I ordered, Ash." she whined.

"Well, ice cream and pickles wasn’t on the menu and when you’re with me, you have to eat healthy. But I did get you some ice chips. I swear, you’re going to feeze the baby eating all that ice." I rambled out as I tried to fix my veggie burger. When I looked up, Kyla was staring at me then she eyed my burger.
