She literally skipped over to where the younger brunette was sat and put on a brilliant smile.

“Mornin’, Ky!” she took a huge breath through her nose, “Man, today is a great day; I can feel it already! Don’t you think today’s just wonderful?”

Kyla looked up from her book and cocked a single brow at the super cheerful blonde. She closed her book, threw it onto the table behind her and smirked, “Well, someone got laid.”

Spencer’s eyes widened and her mouth fell open, “Uhh…Okay, y’know what? Are you just, like, psychic or something? Or just plain psycho?”

“Psygecko,” the small girl replied shortly.

“Huh?”

“Mix between psychic and psycho. My own word creation. I think it’s positively genius.” Kyla laughed, “Anyway, judging by your reaction, I’m right, right?”

Spencer smiled and shook her head. Sitting next to the other girl she said, “Well…yes, but I’d rather not refer to it in such crude terms.”

“Oh my God!” Kyla squealed, “Tell me everything!”

Ashley had just arrived at school and was at her locker getting what books she needed for her first classes.

“A cold,” she muttered to herself. “Since when do cats get colds?” She laughed in spite of herself. She loved Rob a hell of a lot, but that cat could be such a hassle.

“Hey, Ash!” a masculine voice called from behind her.

She turned around, catching site of Aiden arriving to school after an early morning workout at the gym where he kick boxed. “Yo,” she greeted.

“What’s up?” he asked when he reached her.

“Uh, just gettin’ my books,” Ashley answered as she waggled her history book in front of the jock’s face.

“Where’s Spence?”

“Not sure. The one-limp-wonder drove her, today,” she joked.

Aiden chuckled, “Nice one.”

“Why’d you ask?”

“Oh, no reason. I just noticed your ‘Spencer Smile’, so I figured you guys had gone out this morning or something.”

Ashley rolled her eyes, “Yeah, no. I haven’t seen her yet this morning. But the smile has a reason behind it.”

“Oh, really? That reason being?” the jock asked genuinely interested.

The brunette didn’t answer but closed her locker, turned around leaning against it, and smirked.

Aiden started at her expectantly for a few short moments, but then it hit him, “You guys fucked!” he yelled while pointing at her.
