    Don’t have one….

    Spencer: Maybe we couldn’t save each other then. But we can now. I use to think we were a lost cause. Something that felt right, but was destined to fail. I don’t think that was the case. We were destined to fly. This was a test. A test of courage. We might have failed in the eyes of others. But not in mine. You can’t put a time limit. I don’t think we are a lost cause. I think if we are willing to fight, we could do it.

    Ashley: It will be a lot of work Spencer. This is five years worth of stuff. It’s not something that can be easily fixed in a few days.

    Spencer: I know that. But the fact that we are willing to try means something. It has too. Or else why were we brought back together again. Why not just leave things the way they were. We’re suppose to be together Ash. We just lost our way a little. I know it’s a lot of work. And five years is a long time. But that shouldn’t matter. All that matters is that we are here now. We have to live in the now. Not the past. If we dwell on what happened, will never be able to move forward.

    Ashley: So, you’re saying we just forget everything that has happened, and try to pick up from when we left off?

    Spencer: No….we are different people now. That Ashley and Spencer doesn’t exist anymore. I am not saying we forget everything that has happened, because it made us who were are today. And if it wasn’t for that, we might not have met again. All I am saying is that we talk about, work through it, and than put it behind us. That’s all.

    Ashley: Ok. It sounds so easy.

    Spencer: I wish it were. But it’s going to be hard. And painful. There’s still a lot of stuff we don’t know about each other. Some we might not want to hear. But the truth of the matter is that it happened, and it can’t be erased. The good thing is that we can learn from it. If we don‘t…then it was all for nothing.

    3. I just caught up with this story and I’m literally kicking my own ass for not finding it sooner. It’s so powerful! I like that you’re keeping it realistic instead of just saying that Ashley and Spencer are going to live happily ever after with nothing to work out. This is an amazing story, simply breathtaking. Post more soon!
