It was Christmas Eve and as tradition both set of families were at the Carlin House having dinner before going to Mid-Night mass.  At this present moment they were eating while engaging in conversation.  The topic of conversation soon became about Spencer, Ashley and their baby.

Kyla:  “So Spence have you given any thoughts about what you want to have?”  Kyla asked her.

Spencer: “It doesn’t matter to me as long as the baby is healthy.”  She said as she ran her hand over the small bump that was present.  “But your sister here wants a little girl so badly.”  She said given Ashley’s hand a light squeeze.  “Don’t you baby?”

Ashley: “Yeah it true, I always imagine having a little girl with Spencer’s blonde hair, blue eyes killer smile.”  She said before leaning over and giving her girlfriend a kiss.  “And if she tilts her head like Spencer does then I’m a goner since I’m a sucker for that head tilt.”  That caused everyone to laugh.  The families continued their dinner and then after the dishes where done and put away they went to mass.  After mass the families went to their respective homes with the exception of Ashley who stayed at Spencer’s. 

The two girls lay in Spencer’s bed, where a sleeping Spencer’s head was resting on Ashley’s chest.  It was second night during the Christmas vacation that Ashley could sleep.  She looked at the clock near the bed where read lights flashed 3:15, Ashley always had a problem sleeping when she was either nervous or excited.  The bad thing was she wasn’t sure which she one she was.  Was she nervous about what she was going to do?  Or was more excited?  She couldn’t decide which one it was all she knew that she was about in a few hours was going to change her and Spencer’s life forever.

The next morning Spencer was the first to wake up.  She smiled as she looked up and saw her girlfriend still sleeping.  She looked over at clock and saw that it was now 9:15 which meant that the rest of Ashley’s family soon be over for traditional Carlin Davies Christmas breakfast prepare by Arthur.  After breakfast they would be some chit chat and then presents were opened.  Spencer started to place small kissed along her girlfriend’s neck.  She soon heard from Ashley, but she looked up the burette still has her eyes closed, along with a smile on her face.  Spencer then proceeded to try to move her kisses from Ashley neck and onto her lips.  When Spencer started to kiss Ashley she was surprise when Ashley kissed her passionately. The girls were engaged in a make out session until there was knock on the door and then they heard Glen’s voice.
