Spencer: “Babe calm down.”  Spencer said giving Ashley a squeeze.  “Everything going to be fine.”  Ashley sighed and turned around fully embracing Spencer.

Ashley: “How can you be so calm Spence, I mean you’re the one carrying baby and you seem as calm as ever.”  She said giving Spencer a light kiss on her forehead. 

Spencer: “I just figure that you were nervous for the enough for the both of us.”  Spencer laughed a little.  “Serious babe, of course I’m nervous, but the only thing I need to calm me down is right here with me right.”

Ashley:  “Yeah, what’s that?” she asked.  Spencer looked into her eyes and smiled.

Spencer: “You silly.” And then lean in and gave Ashley a kiss.  The kiss was soon interrupted by the doctor calling Spencer name.

The two girls came out if the embrace and followed the doctor into her office.  In the office the Spencer went through a routine test and questions and answers to make sure that both mother and baby were fine.  It was now time for the sonogram and the doctor had left the so that Spencer could change a hospital gown.  After Spencer finish changing she was lying on the table while Ashley was sitting on a chair next to her holding her hand waiting for the doctor to come back in.  While waiting Spencer let out s huge sigh which didn’t go unnoticed by her girlfriend.

Ashley: “what the matter babe?”  Ashley asked. Spencer sighed again,

Spencer: “It’s nothing Ash.”

Ashley: “Come on Spence I know you better than that, what the matter?”

Spencer: “It just I can’t believe that this is happening, that I’m pregnant and that you’re still here by my side.”  Ashley was about to say something when Spencer stopped her.  “I know Ash, you’re not going anywhere, but I mean still every day I wake up waiting for the next shoe to fall off.  I’m sacred that as soon as thing get good with us that something will happen that will tear us apart.”  Spencer finished with tears in her eyes.  Ashley kissed Spencer’s hand that was in hers.

Ashley: “Hey everyone feels that way babe, but you have to remember that no matter what happens that I will always be here.  There is no one or nothing that can take me away from you; you’re it for me ok.  You and this baby” she said caress Spencer’s belly.  “Are my life now and forever.”  She then lean in and gave Spencer a kiss which was soon interrupted by a knock on the door and the doctor came in.
