    A Red Sunset

“And how old are you?” he asked, kidding

    “Fifteen really” I said giggling.

“No really…because if you are really fifteen I’m gonna have to take you home” he said making a pretend move to reach for his keys. I laughed.
“I’m twenty” I said. The band finally started up and started doing a pretty decent cover of Slow Dance with a Stranger by Danger Radio.

“Do you know better than to dance with a stranger?” he asked smiling.

“You were not a stranger” I said, knowing he was referring too the night before. He raised his eyebrows “I knew your name” I offered. He laughed and looked into my eyes.

“Someone as beautiful as you should be more careful” he said menacingly.

    I grinned.

“I’m stupid” I said. He looked annoyed, but said nothing.

The food came then, but I wasn’t hungry anymore. Not for food anyway. That thought had me fantasizing about him kissing me again. He smirked suddenly and leaned over and whispered in my ear.

“Want to leave?” he asked, his cool breath sending a shiver of pleasure sown my spine. All I could do was nod. He pulled away and laughed.

When he had paid and we were outside, I headed straight to the car. He put two restraining arms around my stomach.

    “Wrong way” he said laughing.

“We’re walking?” I said, trying not to think too much about his hands, surprised at the feeling going through me, since I was usually not a very…sensual…person. He grinned even more, and I was annoyed thinking he must read minds or something.

We walked for a short way just out of downtown, and into a quieter neighborhood which had a few small tattered houses scattered in between various corner shops. He led me to one of these houses.

“Don’t worry. I don’t live here. It's abandoned. I just want to show you around it” he said, smiling. I looked up at him curiously, and tried to inconspicuously as I could wrap my hand around his.

“Okay” I said marveling at his cool hands, but then again my hands must be pretty cold too considering the temperature outside. He closed his eyes when I grabbed his hand and breathed in, and nodded, leading me into the house.
