    B&T reconnect: A few hours before the Gallery opening

    A helping hand and a push in the right direction-CH. 33

     

     

     

    In their years apart Tina and Bette had only dreamed of days spent in each others arms. The few hours leading up to the opening were spent lounging around with each other. They were practiced enough to have the routine leading up to the opening down the only difference now was that Bette had James to worry about the night’s success—of course she oversaw all the details but it was James’ job to ensure they were all carried out. So Bette was afforded these extra few hours to relax with her family.

     

     

    As Bette was sitting on the beach with Tina in her arms she couldn’t help but feel as if she was blessed. Bette nuzzled her face further into Tina’s neck taking a deep breathe as a mixture of Tina’s shampoo and new body lotion intermingled to create an enticing fragrance. Bette began to place feather light kisses along Tina’s neck in hopes that her love would wake.

     

     

    Her efforts were reward when Tina turned her head towards Bette’s. Tina brushed her lips against Bette’s as she acquiesced to the beautiful brunette’s silent request for a kiss.

     

     

    “I’m sorry I nodded off I was supposed to make sure you were relaxed today and it feels like you’ve been taking care of me all day.”

     

     

    Bette smiled as she leaned in for a quick kiss. “You know I love to watch you sleep and I’m already thoroughly relaxed.”

     

     

    Bette tightened her hold around Tina taking a deep breath as she looked out at the ocean to see Eli waiting for a wave. “We should be heading back in a bit to start getting ready.”

     

     

    Tina started to pull out of Bette’s arms. “I’ll wave Eli in so we can start back.”

     

     

    “We still have a few more minutes let him get one more wave.”

     

     

    Tina leaned back into Bette’s arms once again getting comfortable. “Okay that leaves me more time to cuddle up to my wonderful partner.”

     

     

    Bette smiled as Tina ran her hand up and down Bette’s arm interlacing her fingers with Bette’s. Tina pulled Bette’s hand up and placed a loving kiss on her hand.

I wonder how Jane and Tyler would feel if Bette and Tina use Oliver’s sperm for the new baby, especially if Bette carries the baby. That would be awesome for B&T&E but also for the extended biological father’s family
