Spencer was nodding her head as she listened to Lil Wayne and T-Pain’s “Lollipop remix”. She turned sharply and parked her Honda Civic in the nearest parking space. She bit her tongue as she looked in the mirror and checked her appearance. This being her first year at King High, maybe she should’ve thought twice before declining her mother’s offer for a ride to school.

            It’s too late now, she thought to herself as she turned her volume up and waited for her brother, Glen, to arrive. She finally turned off her ignition as he pulled up in the parking space beside her.

            “What’s up little sis?” he asked her as his eyes followed every hot girl that walked by. She smirked and shook her head.

            “Obviously your eyes…and mouth.” Spencer said as she popped him in the mouth. “You might want to close it before flies get in.” She began walking towards the front of the school as he looked after her in surprise.

            “You have jokes now!?” Glen said as he ran and caught up with her. Spencer smiled and shrugged her shoulders, mouthing “Maybe.” “Don’t get jealous because no one’s ever looked at you like that.” At this, Spencer burst out laughing.

            “Wow! What’re you? Two?” Spencer asked as she walked them down through the hallways, not really knowing where she was going. “I am so jealous of girls who get looked at like they’re a piece of meat!” She said as she clasped her hands together and pretended to cry.

            “Yeah, you should be.” Spencer’s mouth dropped open as she punch him in the shoulder and laughed. “So Spence…” he said. Spencer looked at him. “…do you know where we’re going?”

            “No Glen.” She said sarcastically as she rolled her eyes. “I’m just going to get us lost.”

            “I was just asking.” He said as he raised his hands in surrender. Spencer was glad when a couple of minutes later, they arrived at the quad. She noted that this looked like a stereotypical school, with every individual social group sitting together. This made her chuckle as she sat at the nearest empty table.

            Spencer frowned when she didn’t see Glen. She looked back the way she had come to see him trying to talk to some brunette girl. She started to roll her eyes before both of them started to head her way. The brunette passed by quickly, but not before Spencer noticed one thing…her eyes. She had beautiful green eyes.
