It’s never about what I wanted – (Chapter: Looking for Forgiveness)

Ashley started to cry softly as Aiden fell apart in front of her.

“You and I are exactly alike Ashley. We both managed to fuck up the only things in our lives that will ever really matter.”

Spencer stared silently into the darkness of her room.

Had she done the right thing? Had she just made the biggest mistake of her life?

Over the last several weeks all she wanted and hoped for was that Ashley would come to her, explain everything and ask her for forgiveness.

But the moment her wish was about to happen, something in her snapped.

After everything that had happened, all the horrible things she had done, the person she had become since Ashley had broken her heart, not only did she not think she could ever trust the brunette again but she wasn’t sure she could go back to the secrecy of the relationship they had before. Her heart was broken and only two people knew it. Spencer had been unfair and mean to people close to her and they would never know the reason behind it because the love she had shared with Ashley had always been a secret, like it was something to be ashamed of. Spencer knew now that she could never go back to that.

Did she want Ashley? Of couse. Did she still love her? More then anything else in this world.

The sound of sobs could be heard through out the small apartment and it took Spencer a few moments to realize that the sobs were not her own. Getting up she made her way quietly to the living room. She stood in the door way while Aiden left a crying plea to what she could only assume was Madison’s answering machine.

“Madi I’m so sorry. I love you so much and knowing that I’ve hurt you is killing me. Please, please talk to me. You and the girls are my life. There’s no excuse for what I’ve done but if you’ll give me another chance I swear I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to earn your forgiveness. I love you Madison, please call me back.”
