Your The Light That Makes My Darkness Disappear – Chapter Twenty-Nine

    Chapter 29

Ashley stood in her room starring at the door furious. The poster of Channing Tatum just wasn’t as appealing as it had been before. She grabbed a few darts that she had laying on the table next to her. She threw the first one. Bulls eye. Right in the penis. She smiled. She picked up the next dart. Threw it. Bulls eye again, only this time in what in his right eye. One dart left. She pulled it up, but the door swung open just as she was about to throw it. She looked at the uninvited visitor.

    “What?”

“I think we need to talk. Ash?”

Ashley just looked past her. Afraid to look into her eyes. Afraid she’d loose any kind of resolve she’d built in the last hour of playing on her computer, playing video games, texting Ayden, and throwing darts.

“Spencer there’s really nothing to talk about.”

    “I think there is.”

    “I think there’s not.”

    “Come on. Please.”

    Spencer pleaded.

“Really Spencer, I don’t want to talk right now because I don’t want them to know any of my business; especially my mother.”

“Well to our great advantage after a few beers they passed out. My mom is on the couch and your mom is sleeping on the floor right next to her.”

    “Seriously?”

“Uh huh. It’s kind of cute really.”

“It’s kind of corny, but that’s my mother for you.”

They both giggled. Spencer went over to the chair she had been sitting earlier next to Ashley.

    “So.”

She put her hand on her knee and sighed. She turned her chair more so towards Ashley. She laid her hand on Ashley’s knee and smiled. She tilted her head to the right and let her hair fall to one side of her head so that the left side of her neck was exposed. She pulled Ashley’s hand into her own.

“Ashley, I’m not going to lie; I like you. Like a lot.”

“I like you too, but this is just too weird for me. I mean what if they do get back together? We’d be living together as like sisters, but liking each other as more. Did you even see your mom’s face when I said that?”

“Yah, but my mom is one of the most understanding people I know. She’s amazing. Did you see your mom’s face? I though she was going to rip yours off there for a second.”

Spencer ran her finger down Ashley’s jaw line, but Ashley pulled back.

“Ashley, please just consider it. I don’t want to go the rest of my life with out knowing what this could have been.”

She got up and walked to the door. She put her hand on the doorknob, but felt and hand on her waist. She smiled inside as the hand pulled to the side. Pushed her up against the poster with darts sticking out of it. She pulled the dart out of the door that was poking her in the lower back and threw it on the ground. Ashley put her hands on the door on either side of Spencer’s head. She lowered closer to Spencer’s head slowly closer and closer to her lips. When they finally touched in a soft kiss Spencer quivered below her. She pulled back and looked at her.

    “Too much?”

    “Too much? Not enough!”

She pulled Ashley on top of her on the door. She pulled her into a kiss. She ran her tongue over Ashley’s bottom lip. Ashley pulled back in desperate need for air and panic. She pulled Spencer away from the door and darted out of it. She pulled her coat off the her bed and walked out the front door. Tina sat up from the slam. She looked out the window and saw Ashley darting down the road.
