    This has been one of the most enjoyable nights in recent memory, Bette remarked as she and Carmen walked hand-in-hand along the beach

    They had driven to the beach when they had had their fill of dinner and dancing.

    It is at that, Carmen stated as she glanced over at Bette and smiled, I wonder what happened to the three amigos.

    I wonder that too. They were watching us and then they disappeared. Maybe they realized that I would kill them if they kept spying on us too much longer.

    Laughing Carmen squeezed Bettes hand, They can be…

    Nosy, annoying, aggravating, Bette supplied

    All of those things yes but they really love you.

    Bette smiled at this, Yes they do at that. As much as Id hate for this night to end I really do have to get to sleep so I can get to work at a descent hour in the morning.

    Yeah me too.

    Together they walked back to Bettes car and rode in companionable silence to Bettes house. Carmen walked Bette to her door.

    Id like to see you again Bette, Carmen remarked stepping into Bettes me space

    Gulping Bette nodded her head, I would like that as well.

    What are you doing tomorrow night?

    Hopefully going out with this beautiful woman that has started to capture my heart, Bette whispered softly into Carmens mouth

    Well what a coincidence Im doing the same thing.

    Oh yeah, Bette commented wrapping her arms around Carmens neck and running her fingers along her neck, Maybe well see each other.

    Carmen captured Bettes mouth in her own and kissed her fiercely.

    Uh, was all Bette was able to come up with after that kiss

    Ill pick you up at five.

    What should I wear?

    By the sparkle in Carmens eyes Bette knew the answer to that question.

    That wouldnt get me arrested for indecent exposure, Bette added

    Carmen thought a moment, Wear something comfortable.

    Okay.

    They kissed each other for a few minutes and Bette felt Carmens hands wonder a little further south and Carmen groaned at this.

    Well my my, Bette Porter is going commando?

    You like?

    Carmen nodded her head, Are you telling me you sat across from me, danced with me and walked along the beach with me and youve been without underwear the whole time?
