“B? Are you sure you have to go to work today? Wouldn’t you rather spend the day with me?”

“You know I would!! I just have to meet with Kelly this morning and I have one class this afternoon and that’s it.”

“But those things are going to require you getting out of this bed! It’s unacceptable.”

“Believe me T- there is no place I would rather be than in this bed with you!”

Tina continued to kiss Bette and move her hand all over her body.

“T- you are killing me? I really need to get in the shower”

“Maybe I can join you??”

“No way- I would never make it to my meeting. Why don’t you go make us some coffee.”

“Ok fine- you can tell me about this mystery woman Kelly over coffee.”

“Whatever you say”

Bette reluctantly got out  of bed and made her way into the bathroom. Tina pulled herself together and went to check on Angie who was still fast asleep. She made her way into the kitchen and put some coffee on. A short time later Bette comes in the kitchen in her short robe.

“Coffee please”

Tina is caught staring at Bette’s very toned legs.

“Bette, now you are the one killing me. How dare you come in here in your short little robe!!”

“Sorry T- I needed coffee!” She walked over to Tina and kissed her hard on the lips, grabbed her coffee and headed back to the bedroom.

Tina stood there in shock for a minute and then followed her back into the bedroom. Tina sat on the bed and enjoyed the view as Bette got dressed.

“So are you going to tell me about Kelly or what?”

“T- it’s really not a big deal.”

“Ok so tell me.”

“Well we were roommate in college and I had a pretty huge crush on her. I kissed her one night and she freaked out and moved out. You and I saw her at a gallery opening a few months ago. She just moved to LA. We had dinner and got to talking about me becoming her business partner.”

“Mmmm so is she as hot as she was in college? Or is she old and ugly.”
