    “I’m sorry about Tina- that is crazy that she doesn’t remember you.”

    “She is getting better and remembering more and more”  Bette lied.

    “It’s just such a shame to forget about you. I know I could never forget you.” Kelly purred

    “She didn’t forget me! She was in a horrible accident and her brain was injured.”

    “I’m sorry- don’t get all crazy. I was trying to say you are unforgettable.”

    “Anyways- I was telling Tina about you and”

    “Oh yea- what exactly did you tell her about me? How you were in love with me in college?”

    “I told her I had a crush on you 15 years ago and that now we are business partners. She would like to get to know you, so can we do dinner this week.”

    “You want me to have dinner with you and Tina?”

    “Yes- is that a problem?”

    “No, no- that will be fun!”

    Chapter 34

    Bette and Kelly decided on Friday night for dinner. Kelly promised to make reservations at the most “it” new restaurant in LA. They finished their meeting and Kelly walked Bette to the front door.

    “Bette you really are a genius. This gallery is going to amazing. We are going to have to work long and hard hours to be ready for the opening in 3 weeks.”

    “Trust me Kelly this isn’t my first gallery opening- we will be fine!”

    “Ok if you say so. Can we have lunch this week?”

    “Honestly I’m swamped trying to finish my University obligations. I will just see you Friday for dinner.”

    Kelly pouted a little and grabbed Bette for a long hug.

    Bette got in her car and called Tina.

    “Hey babe!”

    “Hey T! God I miss you.”

    “I miss you too! how was your meeting?”

    “It was fine. We are going to have dinner with Kelly on Friday ok?”

    “Um let me check my calendar- yep I’m free.”

    “Good cause I’m not going without you. Where are you now?”

    “I’m at the planet with Alice and Shane.”

    “Oh good- I’m going to stop by and see you on my way to school.”

    “Ok- everything ok?”

    “Yes I just miss you and would like a kiss to help me make it through the rest of the day.”
