    Bette:
    “Please T, please come back to me. I’m nothing without your love.”

    ”Alice what story are you telling her?" Bette asked with a worried look on her face

    "Just about how we used to go out and then you met Tina."

    "God Al that was over 10 years ago!"

    "I know I know- but Tina doesn’t remember last week so we need to give her some background."

    "Bette it’s really ok. I do wanna know all about our history. And these friends are a part of that."

    Bette found so much peace in that response. Tina was thinking about their past and wanting to know how they got to where they were today- that could only mean she was thinking about a future with Bette.

    Shane was sitting back watching everyone interact. This was the trippiest thing she’d ever been through. It was so crazy watching her best friend talk to the group like she just met them. They had all been through so much together and now that is all erased. I mean they all had a chance to make a new impression. Shane snapped out it as Tina asked her a question…

    "So Shane-what’s your story?"

    "Well I’ve know you since you and Bette starting dating also. I was friends with Al first and then met Bette. You’ve been a really good friend and tried your best to make me a better person."

    Everyone was taken back by Shane’s honestly and sensitive answer.

    "Wow- well thank you." Tina said as her eyes teared up

    "You’ve been a great friend to all of us T." Alice added wanting to feel included in this special moment.

    "Well I truly wish I could remember all of our stories together, but as I told Bette I hope that you will all be patient with me, and help me to get to know you again."

    They all echos "of courses." Time flew by as they all sat around and shared stories with Tina. They were all laughing and joking.

    Tina went to stand up "Sorry I need to use the rest room." As she stood up the whole table almost fell over. It was like a flash- she remembered something. She froze. She remember being in the restaurant- she remembered knocking a table over.

    Bette looked at Tina wandering what had her so shaken.

    1. well i have the answer to my own internal question that I never wanted to put out there in the comment…”would tina remember the bad things first or helena, before her good life with Bette/Angie”

    2. You know I never thought about it that way….that Tina might remember the bad things that happened between her and Bette before she remembers the good things. I love this story. PPS

    3. With the quick vision of the table-tossing, it might be that Tina may get the bad stuff first. But, as long as her memory comes back, she has Bette and the girls to get her through. Hi, LuvTibette, beat you again.

    7. I, too, was hoping that Tina wouldn’t remember the bad things first but those were the most traumatic and would probably be what she remembered most. Damn it. Hopefully she will surely connect with Bette and the good feelings that she has when she is near Bette as well as with Angie. I thought that she might remember the love she felt for Angie and of course, the love Angie has for her which is monumental. Oh well, baby steps are needed before any big happening. Thanks for posting.

    9. This is so good, a very interesting premise and so emotional. Shane’s answer was very touching. Between Tina, Bette, and Angie this brings up so many feelings and thoughts regarding love and memory – how they relate to or maybe even transcend one another. Thank you for taking us on this journey.

    15. OH my Tina is going to relive the bad parts first…oh this drama is continuing for a while….for sure….but it will at least get her back poor Bette no matter what she does it just always follows her !

    16. Oh no, my heart is breaking. The girls did well at breakfast and at least Tina had a spurt of a memory although not one that we want to remember. Now Bette is so heartbroken feeling that she will lose the love of her life again.
