“Carmen I didn’t say you were”
“I would never have left if I’d have known she was pregnant”
“I’m well aware of that, relax will you” Callie smiled taking her hand “Stop beating yourself up okay, you saved a lot of lives”
“Babe I got your page is everything ok…oh hi sorry to interrupt”
“Arizona this is Jess’s wife Carmen” Callie smiled at her wife raising her eyes
“Oh hi nice to finally meet you” Arizona shook Carmen’s hand and sat down beside Callie
“So I presume you’re here because you’ve heard some stuff”
“Yep, so can I have the beginning middle and end version without leaving anything out please” Carmen said folding her arms
“Well…” Arizona began to explain the situation, Carmen listened to every word being said clarifying on anything she didn’t understand.
“So let me get this correct, what your pretty much telling me hear is the pregnancy is dangerous” Carmen cleared her throat
“There could be complications; we don’t know what we’re going to be faced with until Jess goes into labour” Arizona explained “If your baby survives then they will need surgery”
“If?”
“There’s a fifty fifty chance Carmen” Callie said softly
“Does Jess know this?”
“Yes, we advised Jess at the beginning that it would be very risky to continue with the pregnancy”
Andrew stood up running his hand through his hair “She didn’t mention that”
“Due to confidentiality our hands were tied, you’re her next of kin and the baby’s other mother so we can disclose this too you”
“Carmen there more” Callie said
Carmen closed her eyes taking a deep breath preparing for what was to come next.
“It’s not just fifty fifty chance with the baby” Arizona explained
“No no stop right there!” Carmen stood up
“I know this isn’t easy and not something you want to hear but…”
Andrew placed his arm around Carmen’s waist
“If it comes down to it you save my wife, that’s not even up for discussion, you know this right!”
“Jess is aware of all this?” Andrew asked absolutely horrified
“She is”
“And Bette and Tina?”
“Confidentiality…”
“Screw that…this is her life Jesus fucking Christ!” Andrew snapped
“Now do you see what I mean when I said Jess tells you what she wants” Carmen said looking at Andrew

Wow indeed! I am shocked, Jess and the baby have a chance of fifty fifty to survive or die. Absolutely a horrible thought.
You mentioned Carmen was in Holland to catch those bastards. It is where i live and it is absolutely horrible to think that people do such things with children in your country or anywhere else. Sadly it still happen over the whole world.
I deeply respect that you write about it in your story, but not only about this but other important issues.

The odds are gonna so not bein JESS’ favor or will they?One mistake and there will be nothing worth holding on for.JESS made the decision and now it appears to have been the wrong one or was it?Jess needs a miracle to pull this off and i hope she gets one.THANKS,ps
Merciful heavens! That is just the most horrific news for anyone to hear, let alone having to live with it for eight months and not tell anyone, then that is the first thing your wife learns from the doctor then the parents have to learn about it after all this time. I’m surprised that shaking was all that happened to Tina, and it isn’t over yet. Surely you will bring both baby and mom thru safely. Great update. Thanks for posting.
