Two of Alice’s other exes, Gabby and Robin would still be happily together, only showing up periodically, including at Dana’s funeral.

Also happy together was Kit and her new boyfriend, Angus, Bette and Tina’s babysitter/nanny.  Kit would also continue to come into her own looking after The Planet, even with the brief assistance and butting of heads with Billie Blaikie, hired for a time by Marina and Francesca.

Finally, there is Mark.  Mark was still around and happy about his documentary taking off.  Mark however finds himself in a dilemma as it involves his friends and roommates, Shane and Carmen.  There is also his on again, off again relationship with Lola.

It all leads to a morning in Whistler, where the snow has stopped falling while Shane is back in L.A., floating about in the Pacific ocean.

Whistler.

There is a knock on the door as Alice continues packing.  Alice looks back at Lara, who can only sit there in a slight, depressed daze, her arms crossed.

Alice ”Lara?  Lara, can you get that?”

Lara says nothing as she stands, her arms still crossed and walks over to the door, opening it and letting Kit in.  Kit sees Lara and feels concern.

Kit ”Lara, hey you okay?”

Lara ”…”

Lara turns away from Kit and walks back to the couch, her arms still crossed.

Alice ”Lara’s ahh…not…really up to talkin’ right now.”

Kit ”Kinda noticed that.  Everybody’s concerned, wanting to make sure that you guys are okay.”

Alice ”Yeah…um…probably not the best time to ask.  Things really got fucked up, up here.”

Kit ”Yes they did.”

There is another knock on the door.

Kit ”I’ll get it.”

Kit opens the door, letting Mark in.

Mark ”Carmen flew back with her family.  And I haven’t heard back from Shane.”

Mark sees Lara only sitting there as Alice continues to pack, then looks back to Kit.

Mark ”How’s Lara?”

Kit ”Ain’t feelin’ too talkative today.  And ya know what, Lara?  I don’t blame ya.  But…I do need to ask if you made a decision about what you’re gonna do.”

Lara only looks at Kit before looking back down.  Kit sighs.

Kit ”Man, the sooner we can get the fuck outta this place, the better.”

Alice ”We’re all gonna still be able to fly back with Helena right?”
